that the same bugs are still present

Maybe they mean „steady level“ instead of study level 🙂

I guess the attitude is also: if they don't build an accurate flightsimulator for our perfect plane... their fault.

I haven’t notice this issue with PMDG 777 or 737 series I suspect there could be some funky weather . Sometime get jet stream gust at higher altitudes and PMDG does behave funny in this case, but with good metro feed my step clim is rock steady.

It has nothing to do with "funky" weather. I always fly in very calm conditions.

Try to let the autopilot of a B738 or B737 do an ILS approach with normal live weather, but in spring or summer, when the heated fields around the airport produce thermals. Just watch what the autopilot does. The use of puke bags in my plane is at 90% when approaching 25R at EDDF on a summery day. (in 2020 btw. but I assume  it's the same in 2024). I have to switch off the ap at some time, to get the plane under control. (2020 turb set to medium).
The 777 (at least the 300) is better in that way, cause it has more mass.

I just finished word tour in 737-700 with live weather Oregon Hawaii, Polynesia, Australia, Indonesia,  India, (hottest places of all of them) Turkey, Ukraine, Spain, Island Canada USA. I have not noticed any oscillation unless there are gusting wind in some cases some win shift with quartering wind from behind. I'm using HUD for any approach I disconnect auto throttle at 1000 AGL and autopilot at 500 AGL and land manually.

Are you sure you have turbulences activated in MSFS?
(although I don't know how the 737s behave in 2024, cause I refused to pay the "cup of coffee").

If you asking me yes turbulence is on. But frankly i don't get much unless I fly GA. I want MSFS to tweak turbulence for heavier mass flying body like airliner mid/heavy. What would manifest as weave for light GA should translate to the light chop of airliners. But I haven't experience any chops 😞
