April 16Apr 16 Hi all I am on fast, fiber internet, a 5090, running in 4K. I run MSFS locked at 30FPS with 3X Frame Gen, and not the dynamic settings, but custom, most things on high. I am struggling with absolutely dreadful terrain and have been for about a week now. I have used the latest beta, and the current build of MSFS 2024. / My photogrammetry streams in well. I don't get stuttering. My LOD is fixed at 200 which has always served me pretty well. However my terrain, especially in the near distance looks like utter mush and has been all week. Are others getting this? Increasing LOD to 300, no improvement. The areas covered by PG look crisp, sharp, and load in pretty quickly. Edited April 16Apr 16 by Langeveldt
April 16Apr 16 not here, did fly almost every day this week. all fine. wth 4x FG, locked at 35FPS and TLOD 110 only. must be something else, did you try another server? Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"
April 16Apr 16 I have my MSFS 2024 fps locked @31 and I never see any blurry ground textures. It's not as sharp as MSFS 2020, but the textures are not out of focus. MSFS
April 16Apr 16 Author Strange. I would say it's my internet, as I've moved temporarily, but the PG is absolutely fine and I'm getting 150mbps down. I'll take a look at the server suggestion, thank you.

I think that you have to enable VSync in the nvidia ap, then you can lock your fps in msfs 2024. That's what I had to do. Play with the settings. Anistropic filtering should be set to 16. Same as fps @30. Test to find the best settings for your system. MSFS

Hi folks, FYI, changing servers only affects which other player-controlled aircraft you see in multiplayer mode. It does not change anything related to data streaming, live weather, real-world traffic, or other online services. Thanks, -SeedyL, MSFS Community Manager
