April 22Apr 22 Hi, As I did not find anything relevant in user's manual : Is there a way to make TCAS & WXR TEST in QW787 ? Thanks, Sotiris Sotiris Stavrakis
April 22Apr 22 I absolutely love the QW 787! When you turn the TCAS on, I use TARA mode, the caution line goes away on the forward display. There might be a test switch, I've never looked. I do know that you will get a verbal warning if it's off Mike Edited April 22Apr 22 by simaddict CyberPowerPC - Gamer Supreme Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D - 64GB Memory - AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB - 4TB PCIe 4.0 SSD

April 22Apr 22 No, I looked and didn't see a test button or switch. But like I said, if it's set correctly, you won't get any warnings. CyberPowerPC - Gamer Supreme Gaming Desktop - AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D - 64GB Memory - AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB - 4TB PCIe 4.0 SSD

All serious addons have got TCAS test button. What about WX radar test ? Probably missing too... Edited April 22Apr 22 by sotiris Sotiris Stavrakis

OK, let's assume it is so about TCAS (I doubt it). The same happens for the WXR too ? (I strongly doubt it too). Sotiris Stavrakis

April 23Apr 23 Oh the humanity, we have an addon that misses a test button/page! At least it has an otherwise functioning TCAS and WX since some addons dont even ship with those. May 9May 9 I was just passing through these forums and noticed this thread. I very rarely fly P3D or the QW 787 now, however I do fly the 787 in the real world. I just wanted to say we never do radar or TCAS tests as part of normal line operations, they’re more a function for engineering, so from a RW ops point of view those functions aren’t so important. 787 captain.
