Bagheera the little black panther from Rudyard Kipling's The Jungle Book?. Bagheera was falsely accused by the much heavier and meaner tiger Shere Khan as being Twenty-Six pounds of sin.

True, EV's do weigh a lot, even more than comparable internal combustion engine vehicles.  Lighter weight motors combined with batteries that are lighter in weight, faster to recharge, and more durable will make EV's a more viable option.  Less weight would also mean less drain on the batteries while driving, the result should be a longer range between recharging.  Definitely making EV's a more viable option!

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

10% to 30% heavier, dependent on the model, range, battery type etc.
