Air Traffic Global (ATG) by BravoAirspace

Featured Replies

First, I'd like to say thank you to @jcomm for posting a link to this new add-on on another thread. ATG is currently available at the Marketplace.

I decided to further research this default AI Traffic livery replacement package. It's very similar to AS Simple Traffic for MSFS 2020. It could be the solution for those looking for lots of nice airliners and GA at smaller airports when using the default real-time setting.

I've been testing AIG without TC and I get the occasional default livery. I also see some smaller aircraft at gates and the occasional airliner where they should not be parked.

Maybe ATG can mature into a good option for my VFR flights if it can mirror what the FSLTL injector was able to do, but also solves the issue of missing GA at smaller airports.

I still rely on BATC to inject the traffic for IFR flghts.

Has anyone tried ATG yet?

Let's get a conversation going.

MSFS 2024 is my sim choice everyday and twice on Sundays.

@CFIJose, thx for the follow up!

I haven't purchased it yet, but I intend to.

Your notes were important for my decisions 👍

Learning to fly gliders since 1980

Stopped using flightsims for good since early August 2026, after 34 yrs using some really great specimens... If I'm asked to name the preferred one, after all these years, MSFS 2024 is my answer without hesitation.

(No desktop :-// after the last one crashed for good, so no simming, but I keep polling AVSIM - my main ludic activities spot since around 2006...)

That's all up to Asobo to improve the default live traffic, since ATG is just intended to be used with live traffic.

I'm not sure if BATC/SayIntentions can scan for them because they're encrypted marketplace files.

Also dependant on Asobo and the airport scenery you're using.

That's going to happen no matter what, even if theoretically we had a model pack with 100% coverage of every single airline and aircraft model in the world, there's always going to be the occasional issue with FlightAware's data.

Like for example they sometimes report the wrong aircraft model type code, so the sim has no idea what to spawn.

MSFS also can't tell the difference between Cargo and Passenger aircraft if they use the same aircraft model code. For example, the B777-200 Freighter's ICAO code is B77L, which is the same code the B777-200LR uses, because of that you'll occasionally have a freighter spawn in place of a passenger aircraft.

Very similar situation if a cargo branch of a passenger airline uses the same ICAO Airline code. For example Korean Air and Korean Air Cargo both use KAL as an airline code, and the sim can't tell the flights apart. So you could have a Cargo flight using a PAX livery and the reverse, especially if combined with the above issue with cargo and pax aircraft having the same model code.

Edit: Heh, the above video actually talks about some of the flightaware data issues.

Looks to be an option aimed for console users who can't install FSLTL or AIG.

For PC users with the option of FSLTL,  AIG for free or even JF's traffic pay for less I don't see any allure to this new offering.

i7-13700KF, 64gb DDR5 6000,  RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

Interesting one. From the brief video it looks potentially useful if someone mainly wants better traffic presentation without building a full BATC plus FSLTL setup. The part I still can't tell is whether it is mostly a model and livery replacement for the default traffic system, or whether it changes the actual injection and traffic behavior in a meaningful way. If anyone has already tested that part, I'd be curious.

I'm almost ready to get it. I just have to confirm that it's not going to overload my vRam.

I agree. The dev will do well with console users.

MSFS 2024 is my sim choice everyday and twice on Sundays.
