No sound in SU5

Featured Replies

i thought there is already a topic regarding this.... I was not flyling for a while, just fired MSFS2024 up and get no sounds with every aircraft. Tools like FSR+ or BATC deliver sounds and i double checked in the menu if everything is activated..

Any idea from you guys ? , even the menu music is not playing. i did a reinstall of MSFS2024 but nothing changed

Thank you, Carsten

  • RTK1972 changed the title to No sound in SU5

If tools deliver sounds but not the sim itself. you shold check the windows volume mixer when the sim is running. Right click on the speaker sympbol in the taskbar of windows and then select "Lautstärkemixer öffnen" and make sure that the sound for the sim is not muted.

A couple of days ago I had the sim randomly change audio output devices in its own settings. I had to switch them back to what I wanted them on.

I agree. Problems with sound? Check the msfs sound settings. They work wonders for me. I also find that both mic and phones need to be using the same source in those settings.
