Goto your Xbox app and uninstall 2024. reboot computer then reinstall 2024 using Xbox app. Start up 2024 and see if you get any loading problems. If not close 2024, then go back and delete the empty community folder` that was rebuilt and rename your original folder back to community. You may have to re point FS to the location of your community folder again. Then enjoy. 23 hours ago23 hr Before you do anything so drastic as uninstalling msfs2024, try this instead.store versionOpen Xboxright click msfs2024, choose manage, Do not click uninstall, instead click on Files, then click Verify and Repair. When I did this it took about 10 or 15 minutes and then all was well.Steam version:Open your Steam Library.Right-click Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 and select Properties.Go to Installed Files and click Verify integrity of game games. This may take longer with Steam, I'm not sure. 19 hours ago19 hr I would try this if it was me.Find where your userconfig.opt file isOn my system it is atC:\Users\MY NAME\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Limitless_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCacheand move the userconfig.opt to your desktop or somewhere else where it is safe to put back if you need to.Then I would go to:https://chatgpt.comAnd tell the AI that you have a certain cpu, gpu, your monitor resolution and screen size, how much system RAM you have. And ask if it will build a new userconfig.opt file for that system. It will probably ask for you to paste your old file to it. (It's a text file and can be opened with Windows notepad). Then keeping your old file safe use the new userconfig.opt file by putting it where the old one was. And boot up msfs. The msfs settings should now be a lot different and work better, giving you better performance. 19 hours ago19 hr When I did that on my system and then chatgpt wrote out a new usercofig.opt file, I asked it to make a download link so I could save the file. Chatgpt made a zipfile and gave me the download link. I unzipped it, and then that's what I pasted where the old file was. It made msfs run without the issues I used to have, faster, smoother. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel.
