LVFR a380-800 Beginners Guide

Featured Replies

LVFR documentation can be hard to come by. Searching for some nuggets I came across this gold. Enjoy & Blue skies to all Super Pilots!

Beginner's guide

A step-by-step walkthrough of a complete flight in the LVFR A380-800 for Microsoft Flight Simulator, from a cold dark gate to shutdown at your destination. If this is your first time in a full glass-cockpit airliner, start at Chapter 1.”

I have a few questions in regard to the payware LVFR A380, and hope that someone familiar with both can provide their insights:

  1. How does it compare with the freeware FBW version? Is the exterior model neater (eg smoother engine cowlings, etc.)? I know the modelling of the interior is better than the (incomplete at this stage) FBW model.

  2. How does it compare in terms of systems depth and flight modelling?

  3. Is the paint kit complete and available at present (both fbx model and layered paint kit)? And is it better than the rough-and-ready early kit for the LVFR A320/321?

Looking forward to a few insights!

Do I need to enter anything into the GSX Pro Aircraft Editor for GSX ground services for the LVFR A380 just as for other LVFR planes?

Found their tutorial and docs super handy!
