Where to post pics of our rigs/setups?

Featured Replies

There's so very many different forums here to organize the various flight sim related discussions, but I can't seem to figure out where the best place to start a thread for pics of our set-ups? I tried searching for "Pics of you rig" or "Home cockpit" but most of the results were years old.

I just completed my DIY stand for my new flight stick and collective combo for helicopters and wanted to show it off ;) It ain't pretty, but the Uni-strut version sure beats the initial set-up I had macgyvered out of a guitar stand and some empty boxes

Would also like to see other's set-ups, give me something to envy and also work towards, pine over lol

Maybe here?

In case someone thinks differently, you can report this thread and ask a mod to move it to a more appropiate forum.

I was going to suggest the Screenshots forum, but maybe here in Hangar Chat would be best. Maybe label the
topic "Pics of Home Cockpits" or something similar!

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

OK great! I'll make a new topic shortly - just need to freshen up the area and take some better pics of the finished setup this evening

Sure, I'm pretty certain I started a thread a few years ago, for the very same reason you're suggesting. I think it's great to show your rig. I'm always eager to see what others' designs are like, as it's not uncommon to get ideas. So yes, just start a thread here in Hangar Chat forum. I'll probably add a pic of mine, as I'm sure many others will do the same. wink

Made the thread - perhaps a bit too much in the first post, but I wanted to show some of the progress pics as well! Looking forward to seeing some other setups:
