July 26Jul 26 This is not really news to anyone here. Instead, it’s a gesture of thanks to the teams at Microsoft, Asobo, and the first-party partners who developed and gifted us with their spectacular simulations of the US National Parks. The new technology and the artists’ talents have created a wonderful landscape over and through which we can fly – and admire the truly awesome natural wonderlands.For a few sessions, our little flying group has been flying around, over, and into (cough cough) the parklands. The vivid colors and rich texturing and sharp three-dimensional details make for an experience that can be stunningly good. We have enjoyed the very different forms of beauty that are on display in Yosemite, Zion, Bryce Canyon, the Canyonlands, Glacier Park, the Cascades, and of course the Grand Canyon. Others lie ahead in our future.This is not the first time we all have expressed gratitude to the teams. It’s an honor to keep up a tradition of wholehearted appreciation.Terrific work. --Mike MacKuen

These include descriptions and airport scenery suggestions along with the flightplans in different formats. Note that these flightplans include many waypoints as a guide for low-and-slow flying through the parklands. (Some include considerable flying outside the parks – these might be truncated to suit your needs.)
