When starting, left engine spins but doesn't fire up, right engine...nothing.

There have been several posts about this in the past, all have closed comments so can't see what solutions were offered.

I have re-downloaded and installed, still same result.

Yes, same problem. The only planes I can use are PMDG.

Even MJC Dash 8 having problems.

The only Carenado aircraft I have is the single engine PC-12. That’s fine. Do you have that one?

No, I have the Saab 340, Cessna Titan 404 and a few others and a couple of Alabao.

I put a specific question into google for the Saab 340. This was the suggestion.

Let's start with the Carenado Saab 340.

Honeycomb yoke and throttle. I only use throttle, flaps and speed brake, not the panel switches or autopilot.

@whisky , I can’t assist as I don’t have that aircraft. But i would have thought to get engines running you would need to operate some switches. Fuel flow being an obvious one.

On further investigation I have found that the same is occurring on all aircraft (inc Pre3 defaults) so the problem is clearly PRP3D based.

I have also run Fortect file management system, showing no fault.

You can repair an installation of P3D. I suggest Content.

Component Repair via Windows Settings

• Open Windows Settings and select Apps.

• Scroll down to your specific P3D component (such as the Client, Content, or Scenery).

• Click Modify/Uninstall and choose the Repair option if available.

Sometimes P3D can develop weird issues related to the fuel valves.

The fix is to start the sim with a stock aircraft and use Ctrl+E to start it up. Then save this scenario as the default scenario.

Client doesn't offer repair option. I thought I read somewhere that Client can be deleted and re-installed. Just a weird thought.

The plot thickens. Tried CTRL E on the Alabao 404. Mixture lever moves to full rich, then as engine starts, mixture goes to cutoff.

Also weird that PMDG planes are the only ones I can fly.
