August 11Aug 11 A VAST expansion of an already excellent addon! We get the bubble canopy, a period correct “ILS”, and a SEAPLANE!!!Awesome!😎ETA - my favorite part:“A total flight model overhaul using 2024's groundbreaking CFD system and flight model updates.” Edited August 12Aug 12 by UrgentSiesta
August 12Aug 12 I've never owned a Flying Iron plane... I fly the Spit in DCS and I love it so I'm thinking about this being a buy for MS2024 to get better at practicing navigation, etc... What kind of flight model can be expected? Would it be comparable to A2A or Black Square?? Edited August 12Aug 12 by Cavemanhead

Would it be comparable to A2A or Black Square??It’s pretty good now. Taildragger dynamics have always been problematic in MSFS, but FIS have been writing custom code and it’s getting steadily better. id rate it as adequate - hoping that’s one of the things further improved.FWIW, the DCS warbirds are a bit more difficult to handle than they should be, particularly for landing and takeoff.IMHO A2A did a better job with their warbirds handling in that regard In any case, the FIS Spitfire is very good - it’s being used for IRL Spitfire pilot training in a full cockpit simulatorIf this pending version is even better, it should be great 👍
