A VAST expansion of an already excellent addon!

We get the bubble canopy, a period correct “ILS”, and a SEAPLANE!!!

Awesome!😎

I've never owned a Flying Iron plane... I fly the Spit in DCS and I love it so I'm thinking about this being a buy for MS2024 to get better at practicing navigation, etc... What kind of flight model can be expected? Would it be comparable to A2A or Black Square?

?

It’s pretty good now.

Taildragger dynamics have always been problematic in MSFS, but FIS have been writing custom code and it’s getting steadily better. id rate it as adequate - hoping that’s one of the things further improved.

FWIW, the DCS warbirds are a bit more difficult to handle than they should be, particularly for landing and takeoff.

IMHO A2A did a better job with their warbirds handling in that regard

In any case, the FIS Spitfire is very good - it’s being used for IRL Spitfire pilot training in a full cockpit simulator

If this pending version is even better, it should be great 👍
