August 16Aug 16 I've just got back into the ini A350 after giving it a wide berth because of all the initial bugs. Planned a EGLL to VHHH flight which was superb up until approach (I really enjoyed the preparation, taxi, take off and cruise). Then on initial approach I was in CLB NAV mode with AP and AT all set then as I selected flaps 1 at the correct speed, the flight modes changed to HDG SEL and VS. I pushed the HDG SEL and ALT knobs and it returned to CLB NAV. The same thing happened when selected flaps 2, then again on flaps 3 and again on flaps full. It even happened when I was in APP mode on the LOC and GS with both autopilots engaged.Has anyone else had the same thing? Is it a known bug? Thanks AMD Ryzen™ 9 9900X3D, AM5, Zen 5, 12 Core, 24 Threads, 4.4GHz, 5.5GHz Turbo 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6000MHz Corsair Vengeance 32GB GeForce® RTX 5090 Graphics Card
August 16Aug 16 Check your controller / button bindings.Be sure the update didn't mess around with it, something that often happens after SIM Updates...In the controller search window use the buttons you have assigned for flap deployment and check the llist of associated actions in the sim... You'll find the culprit there :-) Edited August 16Aug 16 by jcomm Learning to fly gliders since 1980Stopped using flightsims for good since early August 2026, after 34 yrs using some really great specimens... If I'm asked to name the preferred one, after all these years, MSFS 2024 is my answer without hesitation.(No desktop :-// after the last one crashed for good, so no simming, but I keep polling AVSIM - my main ludic activities spot since around 2006...)
August 16Aug 16 Yeah it's obvious it's a binding issue. Creator of: Realistic Pax & Cargo (RPC)For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.
August 16Aug 16 Author Thanks guys. Something must have happened during the update as I found it was also bound to the 'HDG SEL' key AMD Ryzen™ 9 9900X3D, AM5, Zen 5, 12 Core, 24 Threads, 4.4GHz, 5.5GHz Turbo 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6000MHz Corsair Vengeance 32GB GeForce® RTX 5090 Graphics Card
