Good news if these fixes make it worth picking up now. Hope you'll have time to post a few comments after flying the updated version. Just a heads-up for anyone who bought (or will buy) from the iniBuilds store site, they're still showing version 1.7.2 on the product page.

Could an existing owner please report back with a brief review / whether this is worth picking up now? I know V2 is in the works.

At first glance it’s definitely not v2.0. I saw the change log and had hope but 1.7.8 does not equal 2.0. Update seems centered on refining existing systems. If you own it, grab it. If you don’t, wait for v 2.0. YMMV. TANSTAAFL. Blue skies,

I think I'll wait till V.2 comes out. They said there would be a cargo version.

I flew it for the first time in ages today with the update. Very nice flight, no issues. Whether it’s worth picking up depends on what you want. I’m not sure if there’s a discount / upgrade path from v1 to v2, but it is fun to fly.
