Just a heads up, FSReborn released a float/amphib version of the TL3000. However only the stand-alone package is in the marketplace. There's a bundle that includes both wheeled and this new version, and it should have a significant discount for anyone who owns the wheeled version. There was a marketplace issue with the bundle, so if you already own the TL3000 wheeled version, wait until the bundle and your discount. Also you might want to hold off on the floats if you want to get both. They expect the bundle should appear Monday hopefully.

I was almost going to buy the float at full price, but then I wondered where the discount was. I did some digging around their discord and found this out. I figure not everyone is on Discord and might be interested.

The bundle was there when it was first released but it's gone now until next week. £15 is still a lot for this I think so I'm not sure I will bite.

Interesting, it was just gone by the time I logged in so I never knew the price. I definitely don't want people paying full price for sure if they already have the wheeled version, I know not everyone follows Discord.

Something to do with not being ready for X Box yet so it was pulled until it is.

But to quote the developer from when the TL3000 was originally released -

"With regards to the TL3000 they will also get the TL3000 floater version in MSFS 2024 when it gets converted and again at not additional cost, why? because customers satisfaction is always my priority".

I do think the 'discount' for existing owners is a little too mean but, I guess priorities change 😉

As a fan of the FSR TL-3000 Sirius (and a regular flyer of the type IRL) having a LSA on floats doesn't tickle one iota of my interest, and certainly not paying even the £15 discount to get the same plane I've already paid at a relatively high cost (for a LSA in MSFS), sitting on floats.

Feels like a £3 upgrade to me, or some developers would have added it as a no-cost additional model, for added QoL on the product. When I saw this listed on the MP (without the bundle), I thought this was being offered for £23 with no discount to existing TL-3000 owners. At least there will be some discount but £15 for this doesn't make me think that FSR is dedicated to customer satisfaction. Reflecting on the poor experience with the very underwhelming M600 and this, my perception is that FSR is dedicated to revenue maximisation, at any cost (to reputation).

Sorry, I know some people love FSR and won't like my views but I've just become very disillusioned with this dev.

Wasn't the M600 handed off to Asobo, and they finished development?

FSR did state that the "floater version" would be a free update. I get it, costs etc. etc. as work was done, but still...probably bad idea to say it's gonna be free and then not do that.
