Interesting idea.

This has always interested me. There are theories about ancient astronauts, aliens, etc. to explain amazing megalithic constructions, but I've never bought into those "out there" explanations.

I believe that before the flood, civilization, at least in some areas, had advanced quite a lot more than we've given those ancient people credit for. This would be before the ice age, which I contend was caused by the earth's crust shifting thousands of miles or the entire earth shifting on its axis, changing the position of the poles.

They had mapped the entire globe and built amazing structures that we'd have difficulty building today. I don't think they had computers or automobiles, but they may have had electricity and steam power, and they certainly had some technology that allowed them to manipulate massive stone blocks weighing many tons and to make precision cuts into hard granite and basalt that we can only do with advanced machinery.

Interesting that you can carve it easily, till it hardens. Would seem feasible this was the method used to carve giant blocks.

Casting seems to make more sense that carving huge blocks with copper chisels.

Proof that ancient humans were very primitive would have a hard time fitting in with modern society.
