November 14, 200223 yr God bless you Rich, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Thank you for FLY. I wish you the best, my prayers are with you Rich.http://projectai.com/images/frankpai.jpg
November 14, 200223 yr Rich,Thank you for your creations. Please know that the world is a slightly better place for your efforts. Flightsims seem may seem small and insignificant in the overall scheme of things, but hobbies, such as flightsimming, can play very important roles in the happiness of those who pursue them. This is not just because of the pleasure of the hobby itself, but also becasue of the wonderful people you meet along the way. Godspeed!Andrew Jones
November 14, 200223 yr Rich>>I owe each of you a debt of gratitude, and I plead with each of you to take advantage of your good health and spend your time wisely, either with those you love or the things you love doing. << As always you express yourself so well but it is most definately 'us' who owe 'you' the greatest gratitude for the devotion you have always shown and we wish you a 'return to health' above all because we all feel so close to you. As Andrew Jones says >>Thank you for your creations. Please know that the world is a slightly better place for your efforts.<< In fact in addition to your creations you've shown such wonderful humanity in your dealings with us all, which has affected our actions in positive ways as well.Thank you for everything and I'm praying for the miracle you deserve.DaveT

November 14, 200223 yr Dear Rich!Altough I am a member of this community only for a short time your posts concerning your health have moved me very much.I just wanted to tell you, that you (in my opinion) made the only flight-sim (not just a flying game) for Home Computers. Your work beyond the normal on this project was an ispiration for so many others interested in sim-flying. As a user of fly! and flyII! I wanted to thank you very much for all you have done for this community. Although (as I could read) not all of them are thankful. The only thing I can give you to your future is that you

God Bless you big-time!!!!Love, in a manly way ;-) Paul Gillman
November 14, 200223 yr Dear Rich, actually this is my first post here @AVSIM but I have been visiting this forum on an almost daily basis for around two years. The dedication of the Fly community and the warmth and personal atmosphere here was and is still impressive to me. I've never experienced such a emotional relationship through the anonymous internet as this community offered to me - even without contributing actively to this forum. So I think the time has come for me to reduce the anonymity a bit by replying to your post and to say "thank you" for all the great value you provided to the product as well as to the Fly! community.I love Fly! because of all the features, flight experience and eye candy - letting my real world dream come true at least virtually. But most of all I love Fly! because of the dedication of all people behind the Fly! scenes and especially your objectivity, wisdom and humaneness even in controversial discussions. Thanks for letting me participating in this experience. If there is some justice in the world, your personal miracle will happen ... you deserve it.God bless you and your family,Bernd
November 14, 200223 yr I am most upset to read your post. We owe so much to you and it seems so unfair. Time with your family is what matters now. To upset to write any more.Regards,Ed Ward, Jr.Chief PilotWestWind, VA
November 14, 200223 yr Richard,I am sorry to read of your relapse into illness. To be going through your journey, and to have also been the driving force to produce such a vision as Fly!, Fly!2k and Fly!II is staggering. Very few people have been able to 'raise the bar' in their chosen profession in the way that you have. You are an example to us all. I can only wish you and your family peace of mind, and the best quality days in the time you have with them, they are the foundation from which everything else is possible. With deepest respect and admiration,Brian.
November 14, 200223 yr Richard,Regardless of what may or may not be in your immediate future, with all my will, I send you my strength and support to *live* life more comfortably on a daily basis. My greatest desire for you is Peace in your heart and mind - and Comfort in your body. While the future is of course not written, what will come will come. Today is all that matters - for all of us.Peace and Comfort to you and your family. You all *are not* alone in any of this... You all are surrounded by Love from every corner of this earth.Elrond
November 14, 200223 yr Richard,I'm very sorry to hear about your health situation. It's very upsetting to hear such news about anybody, but particularly somebody who has done so much for our community.I hope that your participation here and your work on Fly! has given you some pleasure and an occasional respite from the burdens of your health situation. Many of us have taken the liberty of considering you to be a friend, despite having never met you. Warmest regards,Fred Johnston
November 14, 200223 yr Richard,I wish and pray for you to have the "biggest MIRACLE"! May God find that you should remain on Earth for many more years with your family and friends. However, what He decides to do will be done. I know He's listening to our prayers, though. May God Bless and Keep you, Rich. Stan
November 14, 200223 yr Rich,Like everyone else reading your message, I'm having a hard time coming up with the words for my thoughts. Your contributions to the world of flightsimming are nothing short of fantastic, but it is your spirit and energy which have been truly exceptional throughout the past few years. I'll be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers hoping that this battle too will be a victory. The only patch you need to work on is the one that will debug you!Take great care and you have my prayers,-Greg Germanowski
