December 20, 200223 yr Hi Dean,Pretty. :)Is the autopilot on that Dash compatible with RC? Can Otto fly it?Sidney Schwartz [KPDX]Horizon Flights--flight plans and scenery for FS2002http://sidneyschwartz.homestead.com/index.html
December 20, 200223 yr I unfortunally got some problems with RC3 and PSS Dash and Iron Knuckle DC9, in the Dash its only affecting APU it spols up but never reach RUN mode and in DC9 with no power I got warnings go bezerk.I have change keys in RC3 and still have probslems.Regards,JohanMy PC flyes me anywere!http://jdtllc.com/images/RCsupporter.jpg
December 20, 200223 yr Author Dunno on that Sidney ;)I'd guess PSS are using their own AP again to drive the FMS and other functions, so I'd hazard a guess and say no. To be honest I've never found that a problem. I think the only shortcoming to not letting Otto take control is the inability to pause the sim at preset from destination. Personally I find vectoring for traffic a pain so the sliders positioning is now permanently zero ;)Handles comms no problems tho :) - Dean P3Dv4 & XP11 space
December 20, 200223 yr Author Johan,I have been reading your posts and other than re-installing FS, putting RC on first, then installing each add-on until you find the conflict (as that's all it can be as you've seen from the many screenshots), I don't know what to suggest. If it was me I'd go for the re-install. RC and all the other fine add-ons you have are certainly worth the effort. - Dean P3Dv4 & XP11 space
December 20, 200223 yr Funny, I have pause @ 200 miles in the RCv3 options set and I've never used v3-otto to fly for me and it's been pausing fine without otto turned on using two different aircraft inlcuding my new Dash-8. I do remember in the RCv22 and earlier that otto had to be flying for pause to work, but appearently that's not the case with version 3. Anyone else?AL Regards, Al Jordan | KCAE
December 20, 200223 yr Commercial Member correct. it will pause with or without the co-pilot flying the plane JD Read my blog
December 20, 200223 yr >Is the autopilot on that Dash compatible with RC? Can Otto >fly it? Sid, No and no - but he/she can set the radios.PP;http://jdtllc.com/images/RCbeta.jpg
December 21, 200223 yr How are you able to get FS2K ATC to use COM2? I can enable COM2 on the radio panel, but I cannot disable COM1, so I find that FS2K ATC is using COM1, causing conflict with RC3....Thanks,Chris
