    Leonardo's FlythemaddogX has been updated to version 1.1.0.

    The news was announced via a post on Leonardo's Facebook page earlier today.

    The new version adds support for Mark Foti's Remote CDU, a freeware utility available in the Avsim library which allows control of the CDU via a smartphone or tablet.

    In addition, users will be able to enable/disable RealLight separately to TrueGlass, a feature which will be welcomed by many users struggling with performance.

    The changelog also includes bug fixes within the MCDU and external visual model.

    In the interest of accuracy, Remote CDU is *not* freeware as stated in this article.  It is available in the library, but it requires the user to buy a (relatively inexpensive) key for it to function beyond just displaying the CDU.
