Hi Guys,Will try to join - but Soar is right (as usual :)): What time???My TZ is UTC+1 (I'm sure of that :))BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH -
747-200 (RFP) and 767 (LVL-D).Concorde if needed, and of course the learjet has a pretty good range (though it doesn't compare to the big irons).BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH

Hi Craig,I sure hope that you are right, that it is only the voice of one or two people, That was not my impression, though. The Denna wouldn't need to take all aircraft into consideration. I was thinking more like just logging the man pressure or the throttle percentage at various intervals and putting these settings into the output file. Then it would be there for anyone to see, and to launch a protest, if the throttle was too high for too long.BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH

Good to hear from you, even if was not the message I (and the team) was hoping for. I have to agree with Vince, this will be a serious blow. That being said, I fully respect your decision, but will reserve my right to try to persuade you :)I must admit, I have been thru the same phase, but then came Mike Kopack and his USA race. That was really fun, and really kicked some life back into my flying interest - especially after I decided to drop FSX and go with FS9! It's just better IMHO, and I think it will be a good idea for you to do the same. FS9 may not be as pretty, but it's a platform that delivers!BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH

Quite so!Imagine a late night whith only 2 pilots online. One lands (FSX) and hands off the baton on an airport the next guy (FS9) does not have.In fact, the opposite could also occur: Meigs exists in FS9 but not in FSX.BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH

Hello, Gents (and ladies, if any)During Mike Kopack's USA criss-cross, I heard this nasty rumour that the ** P-51 would be banned from this year's race. The reason is it's ability to run full throttle (=WEP) for as long as it takes. It is quite correct that this is unrealistic, but instead of banning it, we should approach the creator of the Duenna and see if something could be done here. For instance, if manifold pressure > 61 inches for more than 5 minutes, the flight should either be declared invalid or incur a time penalty - something like that.I really like this plane - not because it's easy to fly, but because it's hard (sorry, JFK) - and I've put a lot of time and effort into doing it properly (btw, that includes throttling back to the first red line immediately after takeoff) and I would really hate seeing all my good work go to waste, since my main purpose for buying this plane was RTW.If you feel the same way about ** P-51, please reply to this thread. If we are enough, I will see if the Duenna's author can be persuaded to try and make this possible - in fact, this COULD be useful for other planes as well.BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH

Hi JimFirst of all - if it ain't broke, don't fix it! In other words, if there are no yellow exclamation signs in Device Manager, everything is probably all right. However, I would recommend that you split your HD and DVD to 2 separate controllers - they should both be Master then.BRGDS Sven Sorensen, EKCH

Thanks, ReggieLooking in the rearview mirror, I should probably have done my tracking at SOH, so I could see how/what the rest of you guys were doing. But I had hoped that DC would have had some free time, but that turned out not to be case. Tough luck, DC - you missed the fun :)BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH -

Thanks, MikeI really didn't think I would make it - in the beginning my time for flying merely looked bad, but it soon turned even worse. This last week, however, I got lucky and had enough free time to make use of the tailwinds to do what I set out to do: Complete the race, not with max bonus or anything, but without crashes!!!A few close calls, though;-)BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH -

Mike thank you for a great race, I really enjoyed it - AND got to see some things I haven't seen before! For example, I've never seen Cape Canaveral in FS2004!BRGDSSven Sorensen, EKCH -
