  1. ....... and neither one of them features the distinctive Hamilton Sundstrand FMS. Amazing! 😲
  2. Noice!....I was just giving her a paint myself. 😎
  3. What a lovely set! Your sim looks really nice and love your Zlin!🤩
  4. I'd use FR24.....as I did yesterday to watch an aircraft land live on their webcam. 😄 http://sunsetsxm.com/plane-info/
  5. Thank you, thank you, thank you. Very kind comment indeed! Oh yes indeedee... The Sunset Bar and Grill formerly known as the Sunset Beach Bar. http://sunsetsxm.com Thankyou Bernd and Harald glad you both enjoyed it. I will embark on simulating a Tu-154M soon. 😎
  6. Thank you very much Mark....exactly what I wanted to read.🤓 Given the right photos I would seriously consider simulating this cockpit.😎
  7. Lovely set! Scenery looks great but I am actually more interested in the aircraft you are flying. A quick google and I know now it is a Transall C-160D....also came up with a good video. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggMUlQvc2H0 I see there are two sets of throttles and gear levers....what are the levers right in the middle?
  8. Nosewheel touchdown.....these aircraft are so interesting. Love it!😍
  9. I turn my auto throttle off early. This is because auto throttle does not leave hardware throttles where they should be. (Some exceptions apply - eg: aircraft IL-96 or full auto land ) I have the CS 707 as I wanted a good model for my 707 panel. But as I have not made it yet it has never flown. 😄 I think I am done with payware as I do not get the support I require.
  10. Thank you John. It will take a bit more than DXTFixer to fix it.....You have mail btw. 😉 Very kind comment indeed! Thank you very much. Thank you. I can't wait for the video! 😄 Thank you, I will get back to the A340 one day. 😁 Thank you for the reply Harald. As usual I have been sidetracking myself with a Tu-154 paint..... but I'm back on it! The video will be made. 😎
  11. I can see flap handle set at flaps 5 for takeoff, Flap annunciation working but flaps position indicator not. Cleary externally the flaps are set. In cockpit on finals a little confusing...apart from no flaps indicator. You look fully established on ILS or LOC DME rwy 11 (both ADI and HSI indicating LOC and GS on point, course is 115 btw) so why is the FD indicating otherwise? I would have set my altitude selector as well but I understand this is a test flight. 😁
  12. The short finals shot alone is giving me the hebegebees... flaps up landing?
  13. 😀 I love XML....so unforgiving. For starters get rid of the semi colon at the end. If you have XML questions best to post here: https://www.avsim.com/forums/forum/122-fsxfsx-se-aircraft-and-panel-design-forum-how-to/ or here: https://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/
  14. Hello Although the panel and gauge bitmaps and some coding are by me on this panel. A lot of the systems and certainly the engine modelling is by a chap called Fraser Mckay. When I downloaded his F27 panel I was struck by what a good job he had done with the engine modelling and that was what inspired me to make my version. I think this is his original version: https://www.fs2000.org/2011/05/23/fs2004-fokker-f-27-panel/
  15. I am hoping to video my recreation of Flight VDA3212 from Gander to St Maarten. Inspired by the new (or maybe not so new) Gander scenery. Although I must warn FS niners there are a lot of faults in it. Here are some shots from my test flight. Need to mop up the apron. Pretty sure the Gulfstream G-III is involved in Covid 19 operations as well. 😎 Hurtling along at initially FL320 then FL340 90 to 100 knot crosswinds as we head south.😄 Landing checklist.. If it wasn't for Covid guaranteed the beach would be packed! Touchdown on point. 🙂 Such a cool aircraft IMHO
  16. Wonderful set! I think it was me who mentioned the F-27 in your An-24 post. My first memory of flight in an aircraft is a Nigeria Airways F27. I was blown away by the beauty and sound of this aircraft. By age 11 it was the first half (internal flight) to my boarding school in England....The second half (international) was a Nigeria Airways Boeing 707 the first time, from then on BCal and KLM. The Norwich Air Museum has a lovely Air UK F-27. I made arrangements with the chap who looks after her to come and photograph the cockpit. You are so lucky to have the Just Flight model. I think it looks very good but they did not model it for FS9. I am grateful to Mike Stone for accepting my request to model the F-27 but it is not quite as nice as yours. Having said that I do like my photoreal cockpit.
  17. Lovely set!. Believe it or not I have never flown Samdim's lovely An-24. She is on my drive but has been waiting in my panel shop for what seems like an eternity. My favourite twin turboprop is the Fokker F-27...that may change once I get my teeth into the An24/26 as my Fokker F-27 model is not so exiting.
  18. Specsavers? 😄 FS9 has always excelled at Rain/raindrops. 😎
  19. Hello Brian, of course you are right. It is down to the skill of the painter. A bit below the belt showing me a pic of the gorgeous maddog. 😄 .....still..... park her up and lets see how the PBR behaves. Thank you for the information Steve. You clearly have mastered PBR. The fantastic Maddog for P3D does have me green with envy.....but I'm happy to watch for the mo'. 😁
  20. I'm not so sure..... So far I have seen PBR lighting up bellies of aircraft more than the top side when the sun is not underneath the aircraft. I have also seen an abundance of plastic looking engine inlets. I am not a fan of the new AAL livery at all but absolutely love to older "metal" livery. So as they say in Dragons Den...."I'm out" I'll stick to my photoreal metal. 😎
  21. Thank you Steve! Whenever I see your name I get the urge to paint something metal and shiny. 😀 The main altimeter is digital and is to the right of the HSI. It glows green when readout is in meters and orange when in feet. (At the beginning of the video it is in feet then I switch to to meters) As both Russia and China use meters I thought I should....the charts have feet to meter conversions so it is easy. My panel is made of photographs from the actual aircraft. It's all kilometres per hour, meters per second etc.....except the IVSI which is in feet per min. (only because I have never seen that model display otherwise.)
