Got the Aerosoft f-16 to work. Took this screen shot over Davis-Bessi power station. Port cinton, Ohio.

It is pretty easy to export the tracks. I have it set up where it sends an e-mail to myself and my doctor ( she gets on me if i dont excercise LOL). The email has all the information and a link to google maps where it shows your route. Motion x has a power saving feature. You basically lock the screen and it goes mostly dark to save power. It does seem to do ok and last longer not listening to music. If i listen to music at the same time on the phone,, it drains the battery pretty fast :(. I walked for 55 minutes and without music, it barely drained the battery at all. I have seen, on best buy web site i think, a rechargeable external battery pack for the iphone. You charge the battery pack and it plugs into the iphone. Supposed to give you alot longer battery life. Will put a copy of the information motion x sent me this morning, at the bottom of this post. I also have an iphone, the motion-x gps app would be perfect for this. I use it to track my walks and it does download to google maps. Motion-x $2.99. Took a look at best buys website, they have a small device for $70. Called : Ecco - GPS Locator. Not sure if it downloads to google maps though. All other gps units are over $100. Matt

correct you do not need mytraffic2010 for live traffic to work.matt

the fsx atc handles the live traffic the same as it does any other ai traffic. before you start fsx you click on the live traffic program and it down loads a bgl file from airnav. from what i understand the file is updated every 90 seconds or so, based on the information that airnav has in its system. the fsx atc does clear the ai aircraft for landing and decent. i use it in conjunction with mytraffic2010. there is a setting you can check in mytraffic2010 that basically makes room for the live traffic. this way i still have the military traffic that comes with mytraffic2010. matt

not quite sure what you mean? The default fsx atc does talk to the ai aircraft. If you mean seperate atc recordings like radar contact plays? no there are not any atc that come with live traffic. Did a flight from my home airport of toledo to detroit in the default baron today. while no product is perfect, i thought live traffic did a pretty good job.

Yes, I use it, No complaints so far. I had mytraffic 2010 installed first. i had to delete the aircraft live traffic installed or else i would have had the duplicate aircraft warning when i started FSX. matt

I went and saw War of the worlds today. I thought it was pretty good,from what I remember of the book, it followed it at least :). The special effects were very good. I heard on a radio interview that they used the real life 10th mountain division soldiers as soldiers in the film. I thought that was pretty cool. The little girl in the film,dakota fanning was a good actress, but she had an annoying habitof whining too much :). The alien tripods were awesome and very menacing in their apearance alone. I don't get into an actors politics or religion much. As long as they do a believable job of acting in a movie is what i focus on. Movies are just escapism for me. :). A chance to get away from life for a few hours. Nothing more. Man,that sound the alien machines made before they attack, that was chilling, kinda like a cross between a train horn and a fog horn. Oh well enough of my rambling :). Matt
