Hi peeps. I´m having trouble with my ESGG scenery by Swedflight (nowadays freeware). I have not flown to ESGG many times, but a few months ago I realized that the ILS was not working.. (I got to realize this the hard way.. Coming in to lock on the VOR in low visibility.. it ended with me doing four laps and then finally getting her down on the visual) Anyway.. I tried different AFCADs back and forth but no luck.. I finally decided to remove the scenery and re-install. STILL no ILS/VOR... And the problem is that when I open the actual AFCAD file in AFX, and then choose "Navaids", that window is totally blank. I cannot either try and add a new ILS, since the "Select Runway" drop down list is also blank... I had some contact with a fellow swedish simmer who sent me another AFCAD, with which he had good navaids, but ALSO THAT FILE, did not have any Navaids when I checked it... Does ANYONE have a clue here??? Kind regs /Johan

Hi, I recently downloaded a freeware addon scenery for the City of Kuala Lumpur. However, some of the landmark buildnings from the default scenery is still there, leaving duplicates of e.g. the Petronas Towers. I wonder, if possible, how do I remove these "old" versions? Kind regards, Johan

Not more than 10 I believe. :) (I just copied all Aircraft names from WOAI into the AIG and changed the AC# to correspond with the flight plan. I then renamed the AIG aircraft-, flightplan- and airport files to the name of my old WOAI files and re-compiled.Voila!

Update: Well, it worked!!! Now SWA is found at KSFO! Thanx!

This is the way to do it. I will have a try.When changing the names, you change everything, but leave the AC#.. correct?Like:Thanx to all of you for your input guys!

SOLVED...Apparently.. for some reason you have to untick the opposite Runway which is to be open for LANDING as well..For 22L to be used for landing ONLY, one must close 22R for landing (obviously) but also OPEN 04R (same rwy as 22L) for landing! AI won´t land on 04R, but only on 22L.

Hi,I recently made some own updates to a payware scenery I own, EKCH by Scansim.When the 22 flow is used: Rwy 22R is used for takeoff, Rwy 22L is landing. (04 flow: 04R takeoff, 04L landing) I have made four separate AFCADs to use with the different flows, and for the 22 flow, I have set 22R to CLOSED for landing, but open for takeoff, and vice versa on 22L.But still the dang AI sometimes land on 22R... I thought that it was possible to direct the traffic as to runways for takeoff and landing, as long as it was in one direction (ie. if I made the same thing for Rwys 04R and L in the same AFCAD, it wouldn´t work)But now it still doesn´t seem to work..Any ways to fix this??Kind regards,Johan

hi,I wonder if there's a way to get AI SWA flights to appear at FTs KSFO... I have tried to add the SWA code to the affected gates in the AFCAD but they still don't show up. I use an AI pack by WOAI so there a schedules flights by SWA to KSFO. The parking radius of the gates are also sufficient for the B737. any ideas?/Johan

Hi Rafal. I did it the other way, I changed the name in the "aircraft_norwegianairshuttle_su10.txt" instead, to correspond with the aircraft.cfg. And now the aircrafts are associated with the "Traffic_norwegianairshuttle:su10.bgl" when looking in ACA2005.BUT. Still no NAX-aircrafts at either EKCH or ESSA, where they clearly should be by now..

Well, the first line in the "aircraft_norwegianairshuttle_su10.txt" is: The first flight in the "flightplans_norwegianairshuttle_su10.txt" is: And the first line in my AIA B738 .cfg is:

Hi Rafal,thank you for your great help!Anyway, I downloaded some NAX-flightplans from avsim, downloaded the base AIA B737NG (updated version) and the corresponding AI-aircrafts which were linked from the flighplan´s readme..Took the three files from the flightplan and compiled them into FS. However, when I check with ACA2005 on these aircrafts, they are not assigned to any FP file...I can´t see where I went wrong on this one.. Could it be the AC# you mentioned? Are they supposed to have the same number as the corresponding aircraft in the AIA 738 aircraft.cfg?

UPDATE: Well big mistake on my part.. I had forgotten to update the aircraft.cfg files in the corresponding WOAI folders.. Now NAX flights are around!So only two things remaining..1. Getting the NAX flights updated.. I only found them at ENGM.. None at other hubs like EKCH or ESSA. But this file was created before they expanded I guess.. No 737NGs either..2. Getting the WOAI installer to work properly! I have no idea why it won´t work!/JEDIT: Hi Rafal, yes I made it manually.I just found a newer set of flightplans here at avsim for NAX, but I have no idea on how to implement them on my WOAI traffic..

Hi Rafal.. I checked "List by ATC airline" in the ACA2005 1.6.6 and under NORHSUTTLE I only found one of my Posky-repaints.. Checking other airlines, like SAS, I find all my aircrafts; Posky, PMDG, iFly, AI-aardvark etc...Could this be a problem? I wonder why a faulty WOAI pack should make the Avsim file library!EDIT: Correction, I found another folder NOR_SHUTTLE (with space between) and there were the rest of my own aircrafts (Posky, iFly), but still not any of the two models provided in the package!

Hi Tristan. Well I have thought about this.. however I have checked on both EKCH by Scansim and ENGM from Norwegian airports and no sighting... But perhaps it is the AFCADs anyway? But an airport does not HAVE TO have a dedicated airline parking code to each airline in order to get them there, right?

Well, at first, there was no path by default when starting the installer, so I figured it might not have found the FS9 folder.. So I installed manually and the files ended up in a WOAI-norwegian folder within Fs9 main. I then tried to install the package automatically with the installer, and I got no error messages, however, when I checked the scenery/world/scenery folder, the .bgl had not been placed there, so I took the one from the WOAI-norwegian (manual) folder and added the aircrafts, but still no luck...

The install went as usual (I did manually choose my FS9 folder, since it didn´t show up in the field as default).However, no NAX flights are to be found.. What´s wrong?I should add, that my current AI were all moved manually from a backup FS9-drive into my new installation on my new system. If it makes any difference.. Do I need to run TTools or anything like that?I have asked for help in the WOAI forums, but I have still got no answer there.Any help appreciated!Kind regards,JohanEDIT: Apparently, I had extracted the files manually into the FS9 directory, so I placed the files where they should be.. Hi,I am considering to purchase a copy of Ultimate Terrain USA. However, I already have quite a few sceneries installed in the US and I wonder if it´s possible to install UT on top of them?Should I just put the UT scenery underneath the other sceneries in the Scenery File Library or do I have to re-install all my addons?Kind regards,Johan
