  1. I notice the news link to the new wilco site. Are you aware that access to customer downloads has been disabled since the new site launched a few weeks ago? That means we cannot get our purchases or serial numbers. Am I the only person with this problem because I dont see anyone else mentioning it except one in the feelthere forum who said he wasnt even able to download new purchases. I have been in touch with them and got the typical Wilco brush off. I also posted in the feelthere forum as they published most of their stuff and the only response I got from there is that the Wilco site is none of their responsibility and I should have kept copies of everything including serials. Talk about sticking a head in the sand....Well as members will be aware no other software company dealing with downloadable products takes this attitude so I learnt the hard way never to purchase directly from Wilco or Feelthere ever again - especially as by and large their products leave a lot to be desired but I buy because I try to support the community and I love the hobby. However what concenrs me as well is the active promotion you have given this publisher on the front page of AVSIM when they are treating customers in the way they do.I wonder if anyone else is experiencing problems with the site or is it just me? If it is I apologise for raising the issue but its something I feel very strongly aboutJohn
  2. Also I would beware buying the Wilco version until their download system is operating normally in the new website. The link to download serials in the account page has been broken ever since the new site launched and though they are promising to sort it out I for one am not holding my breath as its already been broken for nearly 3 weeks nowJohn
  3. And have the same issues as well - since the forums are accessible I imagine its maintenanceJohn
  4. Still no access. Surely someone can throw some light on the issue?Thnx
  5. I know its only temporary but the site is down as they move to a new server. Apparently we need to contact them to get access to the download centre but I need to reinstall my products and theres no link.Typical.Anyone have any ideas?John
  6. Many thanks for all the hard work Tom and all the staff as well. It makes this site the best for downloads and the forums are great as well.Happy christmas and new year to everyone. I am now off until Wednesday and planning many long haul flights John
  7. Dont we have a rule that all posts need to be signed?Cheers John
  8. Wonder what silly mistakes people have made in FS9. Only asking as I just reinstalled cloud9 KLAX and tried to register the serial number using the licence key in the Fsdreamteam KLAS page. Only to find that it wasnt - so i thought - working. In my frustration just about to fire off an annoyed comment to the FSdreamteam forum then just in time saw the cloud9 entry for KLAX and hey presto all worked like clockwork :( And no I havent been drinking :(
  9. No need to be quite so rude. In case you hadnt noticed Frontier dont operate Boeings at the moment they operate AIRBUS and the last boeing left the fleet 5 years ago in 2005. If you are so behind the times that you want to use the BOEING instead of AIRBUS then go back to flightplans for 2004.I found that in 2 clicks
  10. Thnx guys was worried for a minute.......
  11. seems to be a problem with the search and new files pages; i can download ok from the hot files list so i will relax and wait for you guys to sort it out. Just hope its not a major problem like we had before.John
  12. Hope this is just temporary but not allowed into the library today. Yesterday was fine. Now getting database error message. Is there maintenance going on? Hope its just me.John
  13. Also have been supporter since dont know how long and would be lost without ASE - even in FS9John
  14. yeah sorry for the omission but my own preference is the heavies despite being British with a natural affinity for the ATPwill give you a try when I canJohn
  15. A good month for FS9 with Project Airbus A380 and WSSS from Imagine sim being released. Actually at the moment flying an SQ airbus 380 WSSS-EGLL.Did someone say FS9 is being overtaken by FSX?Know where I would rather beJohn
  16. Reinstalled everything few weeks ago and just tried first flight with the PSS 757. Very strange behaviour with the EFIS altitude readout which loads in on initialization of the aircraft but after a few seconds blanks out completely. The heading indicators at the bottom also dissapear. Rest of gauge is there. Tried entering flight plan but it doesnt complete properly as cant read the ground level altitude which isnt there.Have checked the 777 and dont have the same problemCan anyone help?thnx John
  17. Just noticed as well that it compiles as a World of AI traffic plan! Very odd - thought I was seeing things and that i had downloaded a WOAI flightplan instead and was about to apologise but double checked and it is uploaded to the site as globus world. Come on guys - do you have permission to use their work?So far the other plans have worked but i am being very cautious and wonder who we are dealing with here - WOAI in another name? If so dont understand as WOAI packages along with AIG the best there are today.John
  18. Whilst I appreciate the new traffic plans uploaded from Globus World I have just compiled Air Berlin v 2 and there are several airports that they have omitted from the airport file which need to be added in manually before traffic tools will compile.I appreciate the afforts of groups to publish AI traffic plans and I think particularly of AIG and WOAI and of course the pioneering work of PAI. However I wonder what quality control is in place when there are errors which surely would be known before the plan is uploaded to this site?I would welcome feedback from Globus members as there doesnt appear to be a forum on their site.ThnxJohn
  19. I copied over the Wilco panel and sound and first flight was LFPG-FAJS with no unexpected behaviour. Now performing the return leg and just about to cross into Congolese airspace.I am amazed that after all these years we are still getting quality freeware and payware addonsJohn
  20. I dont know about anyone else but I find the GPS navigations system is quite amazing. This evening I am flyng BA226 KATL-EGLL and well over the atlantic already. Crossed one of the north atlantic track waypoints within 1nm of the position notified. Its a credit to all the developers and the original ACES team that this can happen - thank goodness we are not flying the seats of pants stuff from the 60s and the 70s or before that even.Anyone got any thoughtsJohn
  21. Hi everyone.Just for the last few weeks when I try searching for KLM I get no results at all - is there a problem with the way I am searchingJohn
  22. Little bit of fun.Just taken off EKCH -7 to LFPG with no de icing as Aerosoft scenery before AES. Given the cold blast everywhere whats youre lowest takeoff temperature? And another thought - can I take off in these conditions in real life?
  23. HiAccording to Wilco the LDS 767 is not compatible with Windows 7How come then I am currently flying EGLL HTDA in the BAW LDS 767 in Windows 7 and FS9 with no conflictsRather disengeous methinks
  24. Been a strange holiday period for me - spent last two days wrestling with a flight from Mumbai to Heathrow using my favourite PMDG 744.had recently updated with AIRAC 9-13 but hadnt spotted it was going to a wrong FS9 folder10 times I set the flight up only to lose control after about 45 minutes. Was about to complain bitterly to PMDG and Hifi forums since got jumps in altitude of 3000 ft plus followd by complete loss of all control surfaces and in the meantime I reinstalled the plane at least three occasions.Went to Navigraph and downloaded Revision 2 which finds correct path and now everything fineMoral I guess is not to blame PMDG or Hifi if things go wrong in the flight - there may be other reasonsHappy new year
  25. I am running ASA with no problem and just checked the website - still up and running. Suggest you check firewall settings
