  1. Hey all, Post windows 10 update (as always), my Prepar3d V4 screen resolution has gone loopy. I only fly in 'full screen', and usually when i do, It's full 4K which is my monitors native resolution. Now whenever i start the sim, my screen is 1/6th its size and jammed up in the top left hand corner of my screen. The rest of the screen realestate is black. Jumping in and out of full screen and re-sizing the window eventually stretches it out, however all of my menu's can then only be accessed from a strange portion of the screen. Almost as if it got jammed trying to resize. Latest video drivers installed also....

  4. Hey all, I rarely reach out but i'm at my wits end here. After upgrading to win10 Build 14291.rs1, my Saitek yoke, throttle and rudders are now utterly useless in Prepar3D. The frustrating part is win10 see's them working perfectly. They are fully functional when I look at their configs. They are powered fine? Latest drivers are installed, however when I launch Prepar3D I face the following problem. 1) They are listed as controlers (even ticked as active) yet there is zero response from any device. 2) Even FSUIPC doesn't recognise their input so I can't "go around the back way". I've uninstalled drivers, reinstalled, changed USB's, Re-installed the client, deleted config files... I'm out of ideas.... HALP :(
  5. First off, my congrats for a fantastic product! It is just utterly immersive and I'm planning my next flight as we speak.Just something I thought I might suggest for any patch, or addition to the product.I encountered my first diversion due to some twit in the cabin beating up on my staff, so I diverted accordingly and announced over the PA that I was doing so; however that was the last you heard of the event after that. If this circumstance occurred in real life, then no doubt you'd at least be requesting some assistance at the airport during your specials call to dispatch?... however I approached, landed and taxied into my alternate without anything further to do with the matter... I'll admit I was a little miffed that I went to all the effort to actually divert and land without the scenario being carried out to completion, but hey, such is life. It doesn't detract from the product for me; however it

  7. During these massive pauses and refresh moments, does your hard drive wirr away like crazy?Obviously your CPU is going nuclear, does your harddrive follow suit?
  8. Just a theory.Number one, This happened to me, and occasionaly still does happen to me. It's major reason for myself was windows. It's processes and the mass of additional programs running to support FS9 were killing my machine.Simple things like turning animations off on your GUI for windows may make a difference to your CPU usage, but nothing is going to do you more benifit than backing up your important goodies, and formatting and starting new.If nothing else, it'll give you that new computer smell :(
  9. ####, i'm apparently the only one with an acurate scale model of it floating around (apparently another model was made, but it was incorrect...someone in the states has that one), if you want photos of it... lemme know?
  10. I'm sure there are plenty of other good reasons :(Glad you guys like them!
  11. Takes a little bit more creativitiy than that unfortunatly...Make a document slightly larger than your photo, background black. Place the photo in the document and position it.Draw a square marque around it (the square selection tool) and make sure its even on all sides (this makes the grey border). Then right click the selection and there should be an option to stroke. That creates the grey border..Add text...Stand for 5 minutes and serve with apple sauce. :)
  12. Hey Tony!Awesome pics!I missed every opportunity to catch the F15 when it was buzzing around.. I was stuck on a bus trying to park every single day I went.... Got to see it as a tiny speck, sort of like a supercharged fly.
  13. I was idealy gonna make a calendar out of them...Time permiting
  14. Thanks guys :)I just frame it in Photoshop. I havn't altered the pics in any way other than framing them.

  16. >Show some respect, trying to model a Boeing 767-300ER on a>generic PC, and trying to make everyone happy is a virtually>impossible task, and for you to rant about two small issues is>truly unbelievable. It's that exact point that you should ALL probably back down and find something more productive to do people. Companies or one man bands can NEVER expect to make everyone happy (face it... that
  17. And that was our weekly Soma release from Robert S. RandazzoTune in next week were we turn into lord of the flies again!
  18. Directly from the FS crew ops manual.FLAPS 15If there is a chance snow or slush was trapped (or could get trapped) in the flap components, click this button to instruct the FO to set the Flaps to 15 for the taxi-in, as well as trim the horizontal stabilizer full nose down (done to prevent melting snow/slush from running into the balance bays, which could freeze on the stabilizer limit switch). Retracting the flaps all the way up could damage them if snow or slush gets trapped in the inboard flap wells. Once at the gate, call for maintenance to check the flaps.I don't work with aircraft quite on this scale but it seems like an entirly logical reason.
  19. Crazy lil idea (and probobly of little to no relevance) but what is your weight set as ie. KG or LB in your PMDG styles menu?
  20. True on the variables, although having developers and beta testers let in on what they use and what performance levels they acheive out of them sets a pretty good benchmark. Still Wade, those results are comforting.Enjoy your christmas guys! I know I sure will!
  21. Guys, just wanting to know in advance (I figure now this is a question that should safely have an answer from the LDS team) what sort of realistic system spec's we should be aiming for to fly this bird seamlessly.Advanced warning is appreciated because it may give me some time to get my a$$ into gear and hit up the post christmas sales for hardware! Thanks guys, if you cannot comment thats fine, just figured it would be good to know early.
  22. And its a pokey 35deg C here...The only white christmas i'm gonna see is the one i'm eating..
