737 Engine Failure during flight
Recently, when I fly the 737 in FSX I have received a continuous engine failure indication abut 10 minutes into the flight. The engine indicators turn all red and the message "Engine Failure" appears below. The revolution indicators temporarily go to 0, but then the engines restart. But the cycle of failure and restart continues indefinitely, and I can find no way to fix the problem. I have adequate fuel, and there is no message on the FMC. i have previously had many successful flights. I have installed no new applications. The Failures Option is turned off in the FMC, and in FSX Can anyone help? Jack Laschenski

PMDG Operations Center Not in Start Menu
Yes, I installed a 5 year old version. I went to the PMDG website, and re-dowloaded the 737 from my account purchases page. (they actually tell you to do this, but not how) You have to first delete the old version (PMDG does not tell you this) Then I installed the current 737 version. All is now OK - I have the Operations Center and have dowloaded liveries. Thanks for all help. Jack Laschenski

PMDG Operations Center Not in Start Menu
I use Windows 7. I have FSX installed on the G: Drive. I moved the FSX folder to the G Drive (As SSD Drive). I uninstalled The 737 because some features were not working. I reiinstalled the 737 into FSX on the G drive. All features now working. The only versions installled are the 800 and 900 base and WL planes (4 of them) When I go to the PMDG item on the start menu, there is a Livery Manager, but no Operations Center item. The livery manager expects a *.ptp file. How do I get those files for the liveries? Why do I not have an Operations Center after my new installation? John Laschenski In addition: I do not have a Program Files (x86) folder on the G Drive. John Laschenski

Thank You!!!!Problem solved!!!You guys are great! Appreciate your very prompt help. The iFly 747 is a wonderful plane.Have any of you successfully used the "performance improvement" file that is on AVSIM?When I installed it, it made the 747 perform bizzarely - jumping up and down at the gate.

Alignmen of Inertial Nav System
1. No, I have not entered in the FMC my lat/long. Do I need to do this before or after I start the alignment?2. Not having entered Lat/Long in the FMC, after the 9 minute alignment finishes - the time out goes past 0 minutes - then a three line white message " Time to Align" with 8 or 9 digits on eachline, stays on the display.Still help!

an interesting question has arisen while we're testing/coding v5. it has to do with what type of aircraft is being flown by the typical rc user. is it:
I always fly payware planes with a full FMC: Usually PMDG 737, PSS Airbus 320, Wilco 737 PIC, and ERJ 145 PIC.Jack Laschenski

Great Product!!!
I've used RC4 now for a week. Done all the Tutorials, which were terrific! The ATC is much more realistic, and flying the Big Birds on commercial routes is much more satisfying.I have used it with the Cessnas, The Default 737 and the PMDG 737.Note: The save flight feature does not work with the PMDG 737 - this is a problem with PMDG not with RC4. Only about 80% of the settings are saved. PMDG says too bad! Thanks for a Great Product.Jack Laschenski
