Sorry to revive an old thread, the MFD works fine until you press the MFD WX button, after that the screen freezes and it doesn't revive after that. So I am wondering if it's an issue with the Navigraph database. I was on a 3 hour flight today with no freeze, etc but I pressed the MFD WX button to test it and I regret it. The MFD froze. The copilot MFD is still working so at least I can finish the flight but the issue is when pressing the WX button on the MFD. I am using P3D v3 with the latest Eaglesoft installer and official Navigraph database. Hope this clears up some doubts. Teo

Hi guys! I am setting the pressurization levels before departing my airport on the C550 and as soon as I cross 10k feet, I get a warning on the pressurization system. I am entering the correct altitude and everything but it doesn't seem to work. Any suggestion? Teo

My experience with P3D v3 has been amazing, switched 3 weeks ago from FSX and haven't looked back. Awesome graphics, performance, etc. I have a Lenovo Erazer X510 system with 16GB of RAM and SSD drives.

Hi, For some reason on my P3D setup everytime I save a flight with the S550 withe its engines and everything off when I load it back again the engines are running and I have to shut them down again. Any way to make sure P3D saves the flight with engines off? Very strange behavior and only happens with this aircraft. Thanks, Teo

Did you ever get to see the VATSIM TCAS traffic on your S550? I haven't been lucky in P3D v3. No traffic at all.

Hey guys, I am not sure if this is a DirectX issue or not. For some reason, at night the ground textures over the standard fsx terrain appear distorted. Check the attached picture. What could be happening? Is it DirectX 10 related? Thanks much in advance. Teo

Thanks now it works. I would think it should work that way but for some reason in my Carenado S550 wasn't engaging right. Now it engaged. Thanks

How do I engage NAV? Already loaded the flight plan and activate it but no matter how much I press the LNAV or NAV with the autopilot on NAV never engages. Also the nav mode is set to the FMS info. Any suggestion? Thanks Teo

The flight model of the S550 is awesome, feels like the real aircraft.. I have flown the real thing. But the FMS even with the Navigraph update is crap. Too bad Carenado can't hire a good programmer to do that portion of the aircraft, it would be perfect. Anyways, for you to enter departure and arrival airport first go to the Flight plan page 1. You have a Line 1 and 2. Press 1 Enter the departure airport on line 1 then press the ENTER BUTTON on the keypad. Press 2 Enter the arrival airport. After that go to Menu and select departure runway and SID, after done go back to MENU and select ARRIVAL and select arrival STAR transition, etc. After that go to flightplan and click over the waypoint you want to start inserting your route and enter a fix one by one. You can't enter airways, only FIXES, VORs (some of them are not even in the db) and NDBs. Don't forget to set up your altitude for each waypoint. The FMS doesn't do it automatically nor there is a place to enter the current FL. After that takeoff and in the autopilot enable VNAV (this enables NAV as well) and will fly the FMS setting. Hope this helps. Very complicated FMS, it's easier the real one on the plane. Regards, Teo

just placed the bgl inside the scenery folder itself, will reload and run some tests after I am done with my current flight. It doesn't need to be separated from the scenery correct?

Hey guys! I am loving using DirectX 10 preview with the Fixer. Everything runs smooth, even with shadows, etc. I have one particular issue with every scenery from Imaginesim. For some reason the airport lights flicker all the time and at some point they all get turned off. So there is no illumination on final approach for runway lights, taxiways, nothing. Do any of you have this same issue with Imaginesim sceneries? I get some flickering sometimes but sometimes the lights are just off and at night its crazy to land at those airports. Any way to fix it? Regards, Teo

Great review however I too bought this addon feature for the S550 and I am a bit disappointed. 1. When I enter a FP into the FMS, some navaids are not found, for example DDP over Puerto Rico, it's just not there, even with the latest navigraph airac which I find strange. There are a lot of missing waypoints in the application. Anyone noticed this? 2. You can't enter an airways, you have to manually enter each waypoint 1 by 1. I can still live without this but it's a must for these types of aircraft. 3. When I enable NAV after takeoff to fly the entered route, the waypoints on the FMS don't get removed after passing or flying over them, instead the distance starts increasing instead of decreasing (obviously because I am flying away from it) but the total distance starts adding up in the FMS flight plan. At the end of my flight I have all the waypoints entered with the total distance from them doubled. They don't get removed automatically. Has anyone seen this happen? Is there any way to fix it. The aircraft does follow the flight path, just the FMS doesn't update waypoints correctly after passing over them. Hope someone can shed some light over these issues to see if at least problem 1 and 3 can be solved . I am used to flying a lot of PMDG LEVELD, etc but I understand each developer is different. Hey guys, 2 questions: 1. Is it better than the Carenado Navigraph extension? That extension is really crappy for an FMS.. No airways, waypoints don't get deleted after flying over them, etc. 2. Does it offer airway insertion? or it has to be waypoint by waypoint. Really considering buying it. Teo

Hi guys! Took the bird for a flight yesterday with the new installed Carenado Extension pack. For some reason, when I create a flight plan and start flying it, the HSI indicator works just fine, going from waypoint to waypoint and flying the route but on the FMS window, the waypoints are not removed after the aircraft passes over it. For example I fly towards the ORL VOR, after passing it, the FMS starts counting the distance backwards, 1nm, 2nm, 3nm and never gets removed after crossing it. Anyone having this same issue with the Navigraph extension pack? Regards, Teo

Hey guys, Do any of you have a PFPX profile for the King Air 200? The one that comes with PFPX is for the Super King Air 200 and it is calculating groundspeeds of 330kts while I haven't been able to get my King Air to get above 250kts so flight plan time calculations are incorrect. hey guys, sorry to revive an old topic but I am having the same issue, when I install the RXP installer from Carenado I get the RXP 530 but with the reality XP watermark on top of everything. The gauge is unusable. Any suggestions? What I did was to install Carenado B200 then run the RXP installer for carenado but after that I get that blocked gauge. Any suggestion on what might be missing to get it working? I didn't go through the GNS 530 Reality XP configurator to assign it to the aircraft. Is that required? Teo Also to add to my problem RXP GNS 530 is not working on any aircraft. GNS 430 does work. Any suggestion on what could be happening. It's just one installer for both, so I don't understand why one works, the other one doesn't. Strange. Do you need to buy each GNS separately? I bought the GNS430 but I thought I read that it includes both, (GNS 430 and 530). I might be mistaken.

ok departed at 0225Z from PAKT, did a slow climb with every antiice on and outside temp was 14c when I took off, as I climbed I reached 5000ft and established there for about 5 minutes, everything went well, then started climb to final FL190. Now I am crossing 10,000ft and everything looks good so far. I am getting convinced it's a temperature issue with the aircraft. Earlier in the morning I took of at 3am local time, temperatures were a lot lower so maybe that's why the engines turned off above 3000ft.
