William, thanks for your input, but rest assured the white lines are there and have been there from the beginning. Probably resizing the image and the grey color along the fuselage results in the image you see. For example on the phtograph you posted the red lines are almost not visible... . :smile: I am not prefect at painting but I wouldn't oversee those lines :wink:. Best regards,

Hello all and thanks for the comments on Ryanair Boeing Dreamliner livery. Just showing off a few repaints I have been working on respecitively are still work in progress. Hapag-Lloyd Express - Cagliari-South of Sardinia [D-AHFX] logojet. Everything created from scratch... . Unfortunately there's a quirk with the winglets distorting the chequered pattern. Ryanair says Yes to Europe (EI-EFP). This one was requested by a forum member. The titles seem to be on the left side of the fuselage only. Ryanair 'Comunitat Valenciana' [EI-DLI]. Ryanair's Boeing Dreamliner livery as of August 2012. At least the winglets are back to 'basic' again. I wonder if the nose cone will ever be painted again? This one has already been released but I had to fix a few things; Ryanair's Fuerteventura logojet. 365 days of sunshine....time for me to move to the Canary Islands. The basic Hapag-Lloyd Express livery for the 737-800 [D-AHFO]. All Ryanair liveries and additional/reworked ones should appear on AVSIM in the next hours or days. All of them come with an accurate airline config for each registration, so it should be worth downloading these paints for anyone who likes to fly around with Ryanair. A big thanks at this point goes to Stephen Bell [G-CIVA] for helping me out with those files :smile:. Both Hapag-Lloyd Express repaints are still work in progress but the toughest parts are done, I am still trying to gather the config files for these two. For those who wonder what happend to the Starliner 75™ livery, don't worry I haven't forgotten about it. Currently I am trying to add a few more things to the livery to 'enhance' it a bit more or should I say EXTREME :smile:. Cheers!

Hello. I am unsure if this video has already been posted - if it has been, excuse me - but it demonstrates the Rockwell HGS quite nicely. The video briefly shows and explains an approach to Innsbruck's runway 26 in a based simulator. What's really interesting is to see how terrain and other things are displayed in green on the HGS with regards to low visiblity conditions. I am not certain if some of the capabilites seen in this video are planned for the NGX one day, if it's possible to recreate these in the framework of FSX at all and the 737 HGS provides these options in reality. I have to state, that PMDG has done a marvelous job programming their HGS...thanks again! :smile: best regards,

Time is a bit short at the moment but I am trying to release the Starliner 75 in the next days. In the meantime one shot of a livery I am currently working on too. Ryanair's dreamliner - EI-DCL. Unfortunately there are a few issues I can't cope with. A little status update on my Norwegian Boeing 737-800 fleet package. As the members of Virtual Norwegian might have already seen I have released some additional repaints on their file library over the last few months. I am currently in the process of wrapping up Part -5- after gathering again more than ten new liveries. At the current state I have created all Norwegian Boeing 737-800 sporting a tail motive, that makes a total of 53 aircraft. Norwegians complete -800 fleet consists of 55 airframes at the time of this post. Only missing so far are LN-DYX and the newest airframe LN-NGD, which have a blank white tail at the moment. Part -5- brings the following registration and heroes to you: Aasmund Olavsson Vinje (LN-DYI) Carl Larsson (LN-DYK) Amalie Skram (LN-DYL) André Bjerke (LN-DYM) Kirsten Flagstad (LN-DYT) Elsa Beskow (LN-DYV) Thorbjorn Egner (LN-DYW) Geirr Tveitt (LN-NGB) Jens Glad Balchen (LN-NGC) Tycho Brahe (LN-NOJ) Povel Ramel (LN-NOR) Carl von Linné (LN-NOU) At the moment I am only waiting for some further information. Hello. A little status update on my Ryanair and Thomson Airways repaints. There were a few minor errors with the airline configuration files of all five repaints. With the fantastic support of Steve (aka G-CIVA) these issues are fixed now and I have uploaded these files to the AVSIM file library plus some other minor updates to the liveries itself. Unfortunately these arrived as new files on AVSIM today, I actually wanted these to replace the old ones but library managers have their own minds :-/. Additionally to the Thomsonfly livey (G-FDZG) I have also uploaded the Thomson Airways livery (G-TAWA). This one comes with an accurate airline configuration file as well (a little bit different than G-FDZG). So if you are keen to have the up-to-date files simply download the liveries again and install them as usual. Steve: Fantastic work on those FedEx repaints. I am not sure if its just my eyes, but on the -600 the FedEx titles along the fuselage look a bit squeezed. I take it it has to do with the shortage of the -600 and the 'Express' title on the left side? :smile:.

Got a few lines looking better now, as far as it is possible and did some refinement on the 'ALASKA AIRLINES' titles and logo. Thanks Jackson. I have resp. had my quarrels with other sections of the paintkit and model instead :smile:. Steve; that would probably have been me who has released the package of Ryanair liveries for the NGX. Look for the section: [iSFD] Baro_is_in_HPA=0 You probably have to set this one to 1, but I haven't checked this yet. By the way, you have to set Baro Switch=0 on both EFIS Control Panels to 1 to have the same setting for the Captain and First Officer side (entries: [EFISControlPanel.0] and [EFISControlPanel.1].

Peter, go to your Microsoft '...\Flight Simulator X\PMDG\PMDG 737 NGX\PanelState\' folder. Open the .SAV file you want to alter - i. e. NGX SHORT.SAV - and search the follwing entry Baro Switch=0 Change the value form '0' to '1'. The next time you load the NGX SHORT.SAV the Baro should be set to hPa. Make sure that you make a proper backup of the file before altering it, so you can go back if there's a problem.

Hello all, I am looking for a certain font which is called 'Mediaeval SB-XBold Italic'. Unfortunately I don't own this font and I guess passing it on to me is not what the publisher likes to see. But if somebody who's got this font can help me out by typing a certain text an sending it to me as vector file (preferable AI file, but everything else does it too), would be kindly appreciated. I am currently working on an older repaint for the the 737-700 and there's no other way to get a high-res version of the text I need, especially with regards to those high.res textures the PMDG 737 NGX offers. kind regards, Christian

The exact airline configuration is always tempeting. I have already done the basic RYANAIR livery. The Podkarpackie logo is no issue at all and adding another registration shouldn't be a problem :smile:.

I have made some progress with TUIfly's ÜBÄRflieger. Here are the latest screenshots of the aircraft: Got the bear running smoothly across the fuselage and tail textures now, added a few details and fixed some minor issues.

Fanastic Steve, I was considering Virgin Samoa myself, the pattern on the engine looks quite nice ... but you beat me to it. Don't forget that PMDG has also released a Virgin Australia 737-800 as official repaint. I just had a look at Shenzen Airlines' livery. I have got a good impression now why we haven't seen that one yet .

Hello Chris, the liveries of the PMDG 737NG legacy version for FS2004 are not compatible for the PMDG 737NGX product for FSX. It's two completly different pair of shoes. Sorry!
