  1. Just added airberlin's Weihnachtsflieger 2013 [D-ABMS] to the list. The third time airberlin is painting a 737 aircraft for Christmas and the third time I am doing it for the NGX. Two previews: And these have already uploaded a few weeks ago: Boeing 737-600: SAS Scandinavian Airlines (Nanna Viking) Boeing 737-700 WL: SAS Scandinavian Airlines (Erland Viking) SAS Scandinavian Airlines (Dag Viking) Boeing 737-800 WL: SAS Scandinavian Airlines (Cecilia Viking) Enjoy them!
  2. Have you had a look at the link I posted. There's an AeroLogic (D-AALC) repainted located and if my eyes don't fool me, the registration plate has got the SELCAL. I have already started working on it. Just need to get my hands on the SELCAL. Maybe I am even in for the whole Lufthansa Cargo 777F fleet.
  3. I had the same thought. Looking forward to your work Gary, you are a steady constant in this community!
  4. Or get this one here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/50ziykj8oqivpvh/sFmDVNRyB1 PMDG_777_200F_GEC.PTP Comes with correct fonts, colours, 'Good Day, USA' title and SELCAL on the registration plate. Cheers!
  5. Indeed, I am talking about the aircraft cockpit configuration and not the seating configuration. Peter; thank you very much! Just to be clear, I am looking for SAS and not NAX (Norwegian Air Shuttle). But if you stumble across a good source for NAX I would not decline it. In the meantime I have added three more SAS aircraft to my list: LN-RPX (600), LN-RRB and LN-RRM (both 700s). Best regards,
  6. Hello. I am looking for the aircraft configuration for SAS Scandinavian Airlines' newer 737.800. In particular LN-RGC. If there's someone who can help me out, feel free to contact me. Thanks for any help. Best regards,
  7. Just four liveries for the PMDG 777: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/50ziykj8oqivpvh/sFmDVNRyB1 Emirates [A6-EWH] Emirates SkyCargo [A6-EFD] AeroLogic [D-AALC] Lufthansa Cargo [D-ALFA] I know all these are already provided by PMDG, but I opted for different colours and fonts which come closer to the real thing. Enjoy them!
  8. Just another update for those of you who love a bit of detail. With some assistance I was able to add seat textures specific for TUIfly Germany. To get the textures for all my TUIfly 737-700/800 repaints simply download and install PMDG_737NGX_700WL_TUI.PTP and PMDG_737NGX_800WL_TUI.PTP again. And as a surprise I started working on four repaints for the 777 (I know wrong forum) including Emirates, Emirates SkyCargo, AeroLogic and Lufthansa Cargo. The first two offering a different set of colours compared to the official repaints, correct registration fonts and window configuration. Lufthansa Cargo's 777 is based on the first images which appeared on the internet, also providing correct fonts and colours. Here's the download link: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/50ziykj8oqivpvh/sFmDVNRyB1 Enjoy!
  9. Added 21/09/2013: airberlin (operated by TUIfly) – D-ABKU * airberlin/OneWorld (operated by TUIfly) – D-ABMC * SunExpress Germany (QR Code) – D-ASXG ** TUIfly (HaribAIR) – D-ATUD * * repaints come with an accurate aircraft configuartion, ** configuration based on images Does anyone have idea about SunExpress' aircraft configurations?
  10. This is one of the best new features done by PMDG I have seen so far. I am aware that PMDG has created other milestones but this one is really nice and made me smile. Using FS Global Real Weather, I am hoping for compatibility too. But I guess the more practicle approach is including the export in the weather tools in format PMDG aircraft can handle. I really hope the featre makes back into the NGX too. ^_^
  11. I have added Thomson's G-TAWL in the new TUI Dreamliner livery today to the library. Enjoy it! Thanks to G-CIVA for the a/c config.
  12. Has already been released some time ago.
  13. There's a repaint for an Alaska 737-900 non-winglet version even coming with the correct markings on the wingtips. Got a good source for it. :-)
  14. Thanks Arlind and Jev. There's a PDF in the folder showing which repaint has got a 'correct' airline config or not. Correct in exclamation marks because in some cases the source is pretty good, in some cases I can only trust the information given to me.
  15. Hello, I am just trying to keep this post rather short. I have worked on a few liveries and updates to older repaints which I have never released to AVSIM yet and I hardly find the time to do so resp. for me Dropbox is a rather easier way to manage these files. Under the following links you will find several repaints for the PMDG 737NGX which I have updated or not released yet. I thought it would be a shame to keep the intensive work just for me. General repaints for the PMDG 737NGX: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/ppigbvua6ssbfn9/d2Qa835j26 Norwegian Air Shuttle repaints: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/c77oj9jl97rthqc/SfbcQZ-A1- Contains all Norwegian Norwegian 737-800 repaints. A list of repaints offered in the first folder (dated 28/07/2013): Boeing 737-700 Condor (operated by Germania) D-AGEV Germania D-AGER Air Berlin (operated Germania) D-AGEU airberlin (operated Germania) D-AGEN Air Berlin (operated Germania) D-AGEP Germania (TUI - Schöne Ferien!) If you are using one of the PTP files ending with a number after the airline designator (i.e. RYR3; BER2) I highly recommed downloading the base file (no number after the designator) too, since this contains textures used by all variants. Else you are going to see issues with night textures etc. . Disclaimer THE MAKER OF THIS (FREEWARE) REPAINT-SOFTWARE IS NOT RESPONSABLE FOR ANY DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE USE OF THIS SOFTWARE. 16. Thanks a lot Steve...and fantastic work on that American Airlines livery! Bogdan; thanks to you too....well it looks like there are plenty of other painters working on the AA livery at the moment, I see no need to do so, sorry! John; thank you too...if you want to have early look at it with your Qantas-experienced eyes, let me know .
  17. Hello. Just two previews of something I have got cooking on my hard drive. I have managed to get my hands on the correct font for all the names . Spirit of Australians (VH-XZA) Comments are welcome!
  18. Noel, there's a version made for FSX, you can get it from the developers website: http://code.google.com/p/fscode/wiki/PDFKneeboard Unfortunately I am experiencing the above mentioned problems, but these might be specific to my system or settings. By the way I don't have any performance issues with PDFKneeboard for FSX.
  19. Hello. I am looking for Lauda Air's aircraft configuration for its last Boeing 737-800 OE-LNK. If anyone has more information on that one feel free to drop me a note or whatever you prefer . kind regards,
  20. Hello. I have been using PDFKneeboard - which is an awesome freeware product for Flight Simulator - for a long time now in order to view charts, flightplans etc in the sim. Unfortunately the FSX version has some quirks on my system resulting in CTDs when opening certain charts with it. Unfortunately most of the charts work flawlessly with it, so that's why I don't really want to give up on PDFKneeboard and I don't want to go back to printing out charts and all the other paperwork again. I have tried contacting the author regarding my issue a while back but a new version of PDFKneeboard hasn't been released for a while now. I do wonder if there are any similiar products to PDFKneeboard which let you view PDF files in the simulator itself which are a bit more stable. Especially with PDF files which have a higher graphical demand like ground charts... ? Freeware or Payware, I don't care at the moment, I just want to get an overview. I have a certain feeling that PDFKneeboard is the only one of its kind :-(. Best reagrds,
  21. Rodney, not that one, but this one: I think it's named 'Spirit of Disneyland II' and is actually painted on 737-900. I'd love to do that one, but it's hard to find good images of the Disney characters. And even if I had them as raw format, it would still be a hard time to get the images aligned perfectly along the critical areas of the paintkit... :-(.
  22. Mt. Maryland One is easy to conquer if you take a logical approach, lots of time, lots of painkillers and good music CD running in the background. My personal Mt. Everest for the NGX is Alaska's Spirit of Disneyland.
  23. I have a certain feeling that the anti-aliasing settings add a lot to it. I have never had those pesky linkes on the 800/900 version until making a few changes to my graphic card settings recently and voila the lines have appeared. I haven't treid tracking down the error by reverting those changes yet. It would be nice if someone from the development team could give a short note on that issue and if it can be solved with a future Service Pack or if it's basically in an issue with the paints themselves. I am hoping for the first.
  24. On a sidenote, I wasn't talking about the three fuselage segments by the way. I like the way PMDG has created the paintkit for the NGX, but they could have provided some assistance for areas where the textures change - i.e. side to the top or bottom. And it would have been nice to have a more logical approach to these areas. If you draw a square on the left side of the fuselage it would have been nice to simply extend that square to the bottom. The way the NGX is textured now you have to move the square at the bottom a few pixels to the right so that it matches on the 3D model later. Well...too late to change that.
  25. Andi, welcome to the lovely world of painting the PMDG 737 NGX . The above mentioned problem has to do with the way PMDG went for the mapping of the textures. The advantage is that you can you do a few fanzy things like webtitles on the belly, registrations above the cockpit windows or sharp curved lines at the top of bottom of the fuselage. Due to the cylindrical shape of the fuselage textures get stretched at the top and bottom ends of the repaint if you just go for a left and right texture method. PMDG has decided to cut the fuselage into four parts: left, right, bottom and top to reduce the strechting effect resulting in the above mentioned advantages. This makes it impossible to paint curved or skewed images on a flat image in one line/piece anymore. Therefore you have to figure out where the top resp. bottom mapping starts. Unfortunately the paintkit doesn't include that information either :(. If you have figured out the connection point for the top texture in your case, you have to draw these textures in a different perspective or angle. This takes lots of trail and error, but it's possible. Vertical running lines are much easier to paint than curved or skewed ones . Good luck!
