Now I am competly confused, I have purchased and downloaded the "ASA Upgrade from ASX". When I go to install this version to install I get the following message ERROR 201 Upgrade eligibility check failed AS V6 must be installed. When I originally purchased ASX I purchased as a combo offer including BUNDLE: Active Sky X and X Graphics. I do not know what to do from here. My original order id: #229853 5/29/2007Please helpLarry

My current version of Active Sky X is build 1160. Can you tell me which version should I download to update my current version "ASA Upgrade from ASv6/ASv6.5" or "ASA Upgrade from ASX" Thanks,Larry

Hi,No, I completely removed the files to a new directory outside of FSX so I would not lose them and then installed matts new files into the FSX autogen directory. since the originals were not there any longer there was no overwrite. Thanks for your replyLarry

Hi MattI had originally removed the 3 default files from the autogen directory and moved them to a new directory outside FSX. I then installed your new files into the FSX autogen directory and as I said I am not seeing any difference. I am going crazy reading all these success threads and finding it is not working for me. I congratulate you on the successs of your new files, I just wish they worked on my computer. Any sugestions would b appreciated.Thanks,Larry

Hi, I have tried the changes that you have sent but I do not see any difference in fps. My original autogenDescriptions was 334kb, the new file that you sent is 302kb dated 10/07, could I possibly have downloaded the wrong file since they dont match your figures of 301 for the new and 333 for thr original or does the small difference not matter.Thanks,Larry

I have downloaded and installed the latest version of directx even though I had alredy had 9.c installed I thought re-installing it would correct the problem. I have been a fs user for many years. Hi,I'm not sure if this is the right place for this question but here goes.I have installed the demo but when starting the program I am getting a message " flight simulator cannot run because the version of direcx is not compatable.According to dxdiag the version of directx that is installed is version 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)I cant reinstall from fs9 disk because I understand that you cant go backwards with fs9 and the version that I have was just downloaded from microsoft.Anybody have any ideas what I can do??Larry
