  1. You will see that in an earlier reply to January that I asked what a "Dome Light" was. I never have seen that. You might be on the right track now. I will keep an eye on this thread to see if it works out for you. Good luck.Bill
  2. VicThis is the switch that works for me.Bill
  3. Strider Load the plane I always load 2D only panel version. Go to Overhead panel - and switch the Panel Brt button (right in the centre of the overhead panel) and thats it -go to main panel and the lights are on - good luck and let us know.Bill
  4. All PMDG aircraft including downloaded EasyJet version have this golden panel lighting. I do not have the 800/900 upgrade.Bill
  5. No airline selected. This is just the basic out of the box PMDG livery 737-600. Will fire up the sim now and come back to you when I search a little.Bill
  6. Brown - don't know how I get that. That is the standard PMDG 737-600. What is the Dome light?Bill
  7. AlexYes the PMDG 737. I have a dual monitor set-up and that is what is causing the preoblem with the pic sizeBill
  8. Now I am frustrated. Have the photo with the 2D cockpit lit up a lovely golden brown!!! and I can't get it posted here.I never have taken any screenshots before so just trying by print screen - says file is too big.Bill
  9. It works on the 2D panel also. Trying to post you a photo.Bill
  10. I agree totally. I will buy it if it is easy to set up with PMDG 737 which is what I fly. Has anyone got a link to the settings?
  11. The switch you are looking for is on the overhead panel. Switch is "Panel Brt or Dim" in centre of OH (I think - not at sim computer at the moment)Bill
  12. Thanks Matt. There are other actions assignable from within MSFS as well as the menu ones. It is these extras I am after, for example you can assign Taxi Lights, Strobe Lights,Landing Lights,Panel Lights, opening Doors and releasing Stairways (where modelled). Just wondering if anyone had a full list.Bill
  13. In the PMDG 737 I understand that some functions can be assigned to keypresses from within the MSFS Key Assignments. Is there a list of which functions of the PMDG are assignable this way or is it simply a matter of trial and error. I am aware that all Overhead switches can only be accessed through Key2Mouse -but the window has to be open for that to work. As a newbie cockpit builder -what a pity PMDG 737 is produced this way ( and gratitude to Key2Mouse). I am sure PMDG would open up a substantial market if this problem was fixed.Bill
  14. Has to be E dIMENSIONAL 3d Glasses. Used about 3 times and since abandoned. Would put them on e-bay but would feel a fraud!!!
  15. Why is it that, on my system, the MCP and EFIS keyboard commands work for everything except "A" turn it on and "Tab A" turn it off!! "CMD A" (MCP) will turn on and off with a mouse click but not with the keyboard commands.(same for CMD :( This of course becomes important when adding an expensive external MCP which needs these commands to communicate with PMDG. I must be missing something easy here but what is it? All other commands LVL CH, VNAV, Speed, N1 etc work perfectly with keyboard commands and also with mouse clicks. Hard to believe that a programme of this quality has this problem.
  16. Many thanks. Have been flying another737 for some time so reasonably OK with the PMDG. Just a few things need checking.Bill
  17. Have just downloaded the PMDG737. Does the FMC not import flightplans from the default FS2004 Flight Planner? Haven't had time to RTFM yet!!If this is the case which Flight Planner would you recommend?Bill
  18. ]And then the rudder pedals started acting crazy. All this prompted me to try a system restore - problems all solved! I will never understand computers!! Happy new year everyone.Bill
  19. Without going in to advanced detail folks my throttles on all planes including payware have started acting very strangely. The levers are jittering around 34% and will not increase using Saitek Pro Throttle, keyboard or dragging by mouse. Things had been great for a long time. Any ideas what this could be or am I facing the dreaded reinstall. Sometimes I can get the PIC 737 to increase power but then reverse thrust comes on at 50%. have tried calibrating through FSUIPC but no luck so far (find it quite complicated)Bill
  20. I'm getting a Hagstrom KE72 board, a sldering iron, a multimeter and lots of LEDs to start on my cockpit build.
