  1. Thank you for the reply Frank. I have no time for flightsimming at the moment, but I will play with these numbers probably next week and will report the results here for anyone who need them. Best wishes, Tamas
  2. Hello all, I have succesfully installed my freshly purchased GTN750 into the A2A Bonanza. Everything is working fine, but the screen is way too bright in the VC. I've seen the pinned brightness balancing topic, but I'm still not sure what to change in the .ini file. Can someone share the required changes please? Thanks in advance Tamas
  3. Hello I've changed [direction_indicators] section in aircraft.cfg. Carenado planes always have vacuum gyro for some reason, and for me it looks very unrealistic when you get gyro drift on an EHSI. So I changed it for electro-magnetic slaved compass and it works without gyro drift. [direction_indicators] //1 Type: 0=None, 1=Vacuum Gyro, 2=Electric Gyro, 3=Electro-Mag Slaved Compass, 4=Slaved to another //2 Indicator number of slaving indicator if Type = 4 direction_indicator.0=3,0 Tamas

  5. Well, it's actually the Reality XP WX500 radar on the pictures, not the ASN one... The RXP unit is a popular addon I believe, so it could be the best for the integration. Tamas
  6. Hi Rob and Sean, I am a happy customer of your Dukes (B60V1,V2, and the Turbine) and I've logged around 200 hrs in them including an "around the northern hemisphere" tour. The Duke is my all time favourite. My only wish would be something like this: Hoping for an update... Best wishes Tamas
  7. As they are sharing the same RealAir_Duke.air and aircraft.cfg files, I believe the performance of the two is identical. In real world there must be a small difference. I am flying the winglet version (N1873K) exclusively, so it's perfect for me. I have an another question to Robert or Sean. Do you have plans for integrating the Rxp WX500 weather radar as an option? I can imagine a nice GNS430/530/WX500 combo... it would be the icing on the cake for me. Tamas
  8. Beechcraft 1900C/D V2? Or a Beech B99? Relatively simple aircraft and still in service. I think PMDG could sell them well. Tamas
  9. Thank you for sharing your opinions about the Cheyenne. I have to agree with you on some points, it is a bit too stable around all axes, and flying single engine seems to be quite unrealistic indeed. The simulation of a turboprop engine is always an issue in FS (a very few developers can bypass that behavior) and as a real world flight engineer I have the habit that I always keep an eye on the engine gauges trying not to exceeding their limits...)) I like the Trimble GPS so the Cheyenne is the only GA aircraft what i didn't want to modify for using RXP units. But all in all I found that the aircraft performing well. Still one of my favorurites. Tamas
  10. Well we could use NASA's total hard drive capacity for FSX...)) But as Bert said, with managing addons 240 GB can be enough. I am using about the same amount of HDD space (no SSD yet) Tamas
  11. It's always interesting to read different opinions on flight dynamics. I do not have any real life experience on flying turboprop twins (only gliders and helos), so I'm may be wrong but I consider the Cheyenne's flight model quite authentic within FSX limits. I'm really enjoying the Dukes as well (actually I fly them a bit more frequent), but I don't feel the Cheyenne any worse. Could you highlight what are the points you didn't like? Regards Tamas
  12. Hello, I would highly recommend Digital Aviation's Piper PA31T Cheyenne. It's too bad that no one ever mentioned her in this topic. Although she isn't as young and bright as some Carenado stuff, but I still love her. Nice visuals inside and out, nice avionics (Including an old-school Trimble GPS), great flight model and a high level of immersion. I've never understood why she is so underrated in the FS community. So as a GA twin fan I consider her as a "Must Have". Yeah, and don't forget the RealAir Dukes with RXPs. Tamas
  13. I would like to see a DHC-3 Otter as there is no quality model of it. Piston or turbine version, or both. I would also encourage Carenado to make more remakes of their old releases like they do with the C206. Piper Cherokee and Archer for example. Tamas edit: with steam cockpit, no G1000 please.
