  1. Well I just did a long four hour flight and it looks like that might have fixed it. If I find I still have problems with it then I will go back to the drawing boards. Ryan Gann
  2. Ram - 16GB not sure how to find the speed i7 processor Nvidia Geforce GTX 760 I run them on High I never had a problem with graphics until I installed the 777 (I am by no way ripping on the T7, it's an incredible aircraft) just not sure why my airport scenery is going away. I have read some things similar to this somewhere but I can't find it now. I have found something about HIGHMEMFIX 1 in the fsx.cfg but when I finally found my CFG I didn't see HIGHMEMFIX, not sure if that is something I should be looking at. Side note: my landing and taxi lights will not show up sometimes after a long flight. Ryan Gann PS Yes I was trying to find where I can put my name in the signature under my profile but I can't find it.
  3. Thanks for your prompt responce. No this is with default scenery. I don't think its a "not enough horse power" kind of thing because I am not having any frame rate issues.
  4. It appears that when I do a longer flight, say about 2 hours long, my arrival airport has pieces missing. I didn't have this problem before I installed 777 so I was wondering what I could do to fix it. Basically it is things like terminals, sometimes some of the gateways are missing sometimes it parts of my airplane, not sure why this is happening, any help would be good. Ryan Gann
  5. It appears that the ini file solved the issue thanks guys for the help. Ryan Gann
  6. I can't seem to climb with the 777 with VNAV pushed and on, I'm sure I have missed something but just can't find it please help. I have a CRZ alt set (360) it's purple there are altitudes set on my legs page. VNAV is green on the CDU and AP is green as well. I climb if I push the VS button but it's a slow climb because the aircraft will slowly low down. It wont increase speed as I climb. I think it is related to the VNAV issue though. I don't have the 737 but I do have the MD-11 so I can't really figure out what I'm missing. Please help stranded at 20,000'. Ryan Gann

  8. That was it, I turned off VATSIM weather then restart and all is good thanks Dave. Ryan Gann
  9. Thanks I will double check that on VATSIM Weather box, I think it's off but I will check again, Thanks. I'm using Active Sky 2012 so hopefully that will help as well. Ryan Gann
  10. I was wondering if there is something I can do to solve this. Basically, I climb up to around 28,000 feet and my climb gradually slows down and I noticed that my TAT was reading +38C and was only getting higher as I climbed. I remember something about this a long time ago when the MD-11 first came out but I couldn't find it in the forums. I had the issue to and fixed it but I have since purchased a new computer system and can't seem to find the solution, anybody please help me. Ryan Gann
  11. Thanks, I checked that one out and it's cheaper but it's not a stand alone so I would need to purchase another module to make it wok bring the total up to something like $600. So if I'm gonna spend that kind of money I'll go and get a nice twin throttle 737 throttle, BTW someone who makes a good 737 throttle was looking at making a 747 but I can't remember who....any ideas anybody?
  12. I am using a GF TQ6 throttle but one of the pots have gone out and I was looking at seeing if there are any other companies out there making them right now. I have used the Go Flight one for years with no complaints but before I go and drop $400 on another one I just kind of want to shop around. Any suggestions are very welcome. Thanks.
  13. Thanks for the reply, Yea I went out and purchased that as well a while ago and have been using it. That solved the drastic quick changeing wind shift, but this is a much slower speed reduction. I can sit here and watch my speed slow down from .84 all the way to something like .76, not sure of the exact second number, just shy of the red line, over a :30 - 1:00 span of time. I keep telling my throttles to increase power (like I have a voice controlled computer) and nothing happens until I get into the red. Not sure if anybody else is seeing this or not, or if there is even a solution.
  14. Hello, a quick question, when flying at altitude level flight, a wind shift happens (slowly due to fsucip, sorry about the spelling) and sometimes the aircraft will not speed up until it drops to the red on the speed strip but then it starts to speed up again back to .85 mach. I find this a wierd behavior and don't know why it does it or how to prevent it. Any help would be great, thanksRyan Gann
  15. Angelo, what is REVO and where can I find it? I am in the same situation as you were and my next step is a complete system restore which will not be pretty.Ryan Gann
  16. Yes how is this working out, more interested in the winds, do they bounce you around like ASA or are they more realistic?Ryan Gann
  17. Cool I must be doing something wrong then. In fs9 I had no problems with any of my controllers but in fsx I have problems with 50% of them not working correctly (I have 4 of them including the T-6). Let me ask, are you using FSUIP or anything else?By the way I did try the new drivers and still no change at all even have that stupid question "if I want to use the GoFlight stuff" during the splash screen.Ryan Gann
  18. Hi everyone I was wondering since Go-Flight just released and new version of thier software (ver1.8) has anybody tried it yet to see if it solved any of the problems?Ryan Gann
  19. Yes I know how to move the eyepoint which is what I always do, what I'm trying to do is set the default VC view in that spot so that I don't always have to set it up. Thanks
  20. This is probably an easy question but before I do anything I want to ask. I would like to move the eye point in the VC a little, basiclly hat down one small bump and "Shift-Enter" twice (it's a personal thing). Any help with this would be great.Ryan Gann
  21. Oh YES I do love this aircraft without a doubt so much so that the last couple of days I've been researching the internet about cockpit building (shhh don't tell the wife). my only concern is the fact that to get rid of the fuel message I have to put an extremely large amount of fuel (yes I know it's a long flight) and end up landing with what seems to be over half of what I left the airport with. I don't belive that real pilots do that and that is why it seems like I am doing something wrong but I just don't know what.I will post a couple of before shots and after shots in the next day or two because I have a nice 9:00 hour flight coming up.NOTE: on my fuel page I get total fuel and some letters next to it (see Example) what do they mean? I didn't see them there during the tutorial flight but I am a sound guy not a lighting guy.EXAMPLE: 170.0/FF+FQWhat does the FF and FQ mean? Thanks ya'llRyan
  22. I got you beat Joe I bought mine (ASX) about 22 hours before ASA was released I haven't even had time to install the updates :( . If anybody can help me out that would be great because if I drop thirty dollars on more software this Christmas week I won't need it because the wife will kill me DEAD :( .Ryan Gann
  23. When I load the program manager with my cargo and adjust fuel accordingly (best guess), at times the FMC will tell me I don't have enough fuel so I increase it in the Load Manager so that I won't get that message anymore. When I flew today from KOAK to PHNL I landed with about 33,000 lbs of fuel in each tank (started with 175,000 lbs total). I wish I had some afterburners so that I could at least use that fuel up for fun :( . 1. I am sure I am doing something wrong but I can't tell what it is, any assistance would be great thanks. 2. I am also not sure how to figure a better amount of fuel that I would need other than guessing, is there a freeware fuel calculator out there that somebody knows about? (of course the first question needs to be solved before this one).PMDDG I think I have said it before but I gotta say it again, Wonderful aircraft.OUTSTANDING!!! job guysRyan Gann
  24. Those 1000 views have now grown to over 1300 views, I do hope those are not people that have these hardware devices and are now having second thoughts about purchasing the aircraft from PMDG. Now have 4 of the GoFlight products and I love them and as soon as I can get these up and working with the MD-11 I will probably be buying more to futher enhance my feel of flying with this wonderful aircraft.I do have a question though, I have a throttle from GoFlight (GF-TQ6) the throttles work with no problem but the Spoilers and Flaps do not, Does anyone else have this problem?I Have a Toggle panel (GF-T8) that lights up but does not work with any of the Toggles when selected, Does anyone else have this problem?I also have a GF-45 and a GF-P8 and both of these work great with no problems. Yes they are all programmed correct, and they all do what they are supposed to do in all the other aircraft, just not the MD-11. I ask this because it seems that we are discussing the same issue and if this is not then let me know and I will start another post.Ryan Gann
