Thanks Nick. In the meantime I tried another version of the engine parts file (one dated 2006) which seems to work OK. If I have any problems with this I'll try your idea. Thanks again.

I'm flying the MAAM United DC3 in FSX DX10 using Steve's fixer program and it is working great apart from one small issue - parts of the engine and prop shaft are missing. I fixed this for DX9 by copying the r4d_engineparts.bmp file from texture.bea to texture.ual, but for some reason this fix does not seem to work with DX10. Has anyone had this problem and does anyone have a fix for the fix?

I've fixed it (I hope!!) by replacing the aircraft cfg file for a clean one from the original download. I can't see any differences, but FSX does some funny things...

I wonder if someone can help on a problem that I have seen no reference to anywhere. I like to start my MAAM DC3 using the FSX starter keys, i.e. ctrl+1 etc. (I use voice recognition software so this works well.) However, recently when I do this (having turned all the appropriate switches on) the aircraft literally leaps 200 feet in the air. Yes, I mean 200 feet, straight up. It then slowly crashes to the ground out of control. This only happens with the ctrl+1, ctrl+2 keys - with ctrl+E everything is fine, both engines start. I have tried to isolate what effects this, without success. The only thing that comes close is that if I don't turn the avionics on until after engine start; this lessens the problem but doesn't remove it. This problem only seems to happen with the MAAM aircraft, the default DC3 for example is fine. This has always happened to some extent, but very rarely. Now, it happens all the time. Apart from adding some scenery, I have not changed my FSX set-up. The problem occurs all over the world, incidently. Any ideas?

Actually, the captain's evacuation message is from crash of the 777 on the threshold of 27L at Heathrow a couple of years back. So someone's having a laugh!

I've found the scenery good provided I start in Sweden. So flying around Malmo is great. But, if I fly from Bornholm to Malmo, I get a CTD as I approach the Swedish coast. Without SWED2011 no problem, with SWED2011 it dies!

Adding this fix in FSX removes the yoke OK but seems to stop the landing lights showing up on the runway? Is this right or have I done something odd?

How do you change the pictures of the pilots in the MAAM DC3? I've edited the file that seems to contain them, re-saved as a .bmp but I can't seem to get it to work.

After reloading all my FSX stuff on to another computer, I'm getting an odd CTD problem. FSX loads as normal, then after a few minutes of everything looking good at the airport it goes back to the black screen and the info box saying "loading air sea and land vehicles". Sometimes it then goes back to the airport and it's fine, sometimes it crashes and I get a "fatal error" box. It seems to be the same for all add-ons or no add-ons. On one or two occasions the it's happened at the destination airport, at the end of the runway I've just landed on - the black screen and the loading box, then it picks up as though nothings happened!Any ideas???Roy

After some time of using the MAAM DC3 without a problem, my trim wheel no longer works. It doesn't move at all either by mouse or keys. All it now does is vibrate around the zero mark. I've tried reinstalling the package, but it comes out the same. Any help? I have FSX + Accel, Vista 64.

This question comes up several times on the board, but sadly no answer. Yes, it would be very nice to be able to see the landing lights from the VC cockpit.

It's a small point, but I can't seem to access the passenger cabin views on any of the DC3 aircraft. I'm running your package under FSX, with the patch etc. I assume they are meant to come up when you toggle through the other views, but they don't!
