Hello Captains,I am coming back to the simulation world after some months and after make some changes in my pc so I ve just installed again the FSX. My problem is that I only have the original version of the MD11X. I didnt download the v1.10.0051 update because by those days i realised that my pc was not so good to run Fsx so I uninstalled fsx (and the MD 11X of course).I ve just read here that is necesary to first install v1.10.0051 update and then install v1.20.0055, but when I look at the PMDG service update page I only find the v1.20.0055. Where can I download the v1.10.0051 update ??? :( Thanks for your help ...... :( :( RICARDO

Hello guysDuring the installation of this pack i could see the following:1. The installation seems to go all ok by clicking in the installer.2. After reading the Brazil Full read me, I tried to add the sceneries using the BRFULL0208CFG.bat link at the "TropicalSim Brazil Megapack" menu within Windows' start menu, but when I get there an error message pops up and says that the program or the option is not compatible with Windows XP 64 bits options. (I am using Windows XP 64 bits off course)3. Despite the error message, I started FS2004 and realised that almost all sceneries were installed, except the RIO sceneries (Santos dumont and Galeao Intl) and the Guarullos Airport in Sao Paulo.4. I downloaded the FSConfig from http://www.visualflight.co.uk/FSConfig/ and I followed all the steps to correct the terrain problems with Conghonas Airport. I have the FSglobalX mesh terrain installed. I used the FSconfg to correct the checkerboard problem. It now looks better but the checkboard stiill appears floating when I am taxing close of the runways threshold. But it looks better. But I still can not see the airports of Rio (Santos Dumont, Galeo Intl) and the Guarulhos In sao Paulo either. I understand this pack includes this airports.5. Another problem I realised is that in most of the airports the AI traffic is lost. No AI traffic. And my traffic slider is full to the right, I mean, I have the traffic option set at 100 %.Anybody had these problems??? :( RICARDO

SUPPOSING that both developers (FSGenesis and FSglobal)make their products using the same last terrain data, this means that they are offering the same product? If I, for example, add a Genesis 76m mesh terrain to the zone of Brazil then i will see the same quality if I add 76m mesh terrain from Global (or even from a free download site 76m mesh terrain) to the same zone of Brazil,SUPPOSING, off course, they all are using the same last terrain data ??So this is something like to decide buying a Q6600 quad core processor in one shop or to buy the same Q6600 quad core in another shop? (the same product, different salers).If this is true, for the same resolution (for example 76m), a way to decide would be to look at the newer set of data??? Sorry, my english is not so good. Hi everybody, i was thinking about improve the mesh terrain in fs9 and i really dont know what of these two options (FSGenesis or FSGlobal) i will choose. If the money is not a problem, can anybody tell something comparing this two packages. I usually fly in south america, but this dont mean i dont care about the terrain in other zones. In fact, after knowing south america y will fly to the USA or to Europe, so i would like to have the terrain ready for those zones too.Talking about resolution, which one is better?For south america, which one would you chose?At the end, do these two packages do the same think? i mean, i will see the same terrain improvements using one or the other????

hello,reading these messages y remember a problem i had when runing fs9 with my old pc. P IV 2,53 ghz/512 MB RAM/agp video card 128 MB. I have installed flight environmnet, and when i try to set the sliders the way FE manual recomend (terrain detail=middle and water effects=full) so the improvements can be seen, i have just realised that everytime I set the sliders in that way and then I click OK, the changes dont remain in the desired position, they automatically go back to the default position (terrain detail=middle and water effect=middle) so I
