Just as a headsup, there is a button at the top of this site, it's named "Links".Amongst others it'll take you to categories such as "Flight Simulation Sites and Resources" with sub-categories "Flight Simulation File Libraries" and "Add On Publishers and Sales Portals".

Dear editor,first, thanks for putting our recent news item up on your page.Unfortunately, our original release note has been so heavily edited as to the point of being indecipherable and - simple put - plain wrong.We offer two separate Fw190A products for FSX:- Early Variants Fw190A-1 to A-4, released February 2009.- Late Variants Fw190A-5 to A-9, released December 2009, honored with your reviewer's Gold Award.Point of the press release is that we have upgraded the "old" Early Variants Package to Version 2.0 incorporating all the bells and whistles of our "new" Late Variants package,and that existing customers can upgrade to the new version for free.Maybe you can have a look over our original press release and adjust your news item accordingly?That would be much apprechiated.Thank you!

How do you config FSX to manually start aircraft?
You would first start your flight as normal, shut down all aircraft systems.Once happy with the situation save the flight and check the box "save as default flight".

Mipmapping and the lack of.....
That's what we do at Classics Hangar and learned the hard way, LOL.The download comes with the mipmapped versions and you can get no-mip textures from a check-for-updates link.Seems to work out for most user scenarios as we didn't have any further complaints about "blurry textures" since we're doing so.

The issue allready begins at the design level, namely while laying out the texture coordinates for any given object thoughtfully.That means if the designer uses for instance insane 4096 pixel textures and gives the left wing a pixel width of say 1800 pixels you would expect blurries with mips and stair effect with mips off.Unfortunately many devs these days believe the larger the texture the better the quality but that's not true.Getting a good balance of texture sheet pixel space per part versus screen resolution is an art in it's own that not many do master.

VC Shadows not working
Many addon developers do not implement VC shadows as it would add too much of a drain to the these days usually very complex interiors.
