  1. Having similar issue trying to adjust range rings. I do understand the standard Baro setting must be set manually, unlike the 737 implementation. I will try moving up my viewpoint this evening.
  2. UPDATE - I did not see today's patch availability - I am installing and will retest. Thanks,Bruce Riggs
  3. I use the FSX ATC on all my IFR flights, with FSBuild-generated flight plans. With the current NGX patch applied, and maybe with the original build, After take-off and my first few ATC handoffs, I lose ATC communications and can't re-establish, even if I reload the flight plan. This is true with all my FSX aircraft now. Has anyone else seen this issue? I was thinking there might be some type of .dll conflict or something. I can usually re-establish somewhere in the approach environment, but I am always at a lower altitude then ATC thinks I am at.Thanks,Bruce RiggsOne other note, I am using either REX or Active Sky Evolution for my weather, and the ATC problem occurs regardless of which one I am running. I am running no other add-ons other than some various scenery.Bruce
  4. SP/Updated install file does not appear to be available - is it being reworked? Thanks, Bruce Riggs
  5. Minor issue: the cowl flaps handle seems to be reversed - handle moved to "Open", cowl flaps are closed.
  6. Thanks, that worked just fine - just changed the instrument name to the v-tail AP
  7. Is there any way to get an AP popup panel on the V35 like the one on the F33?Thanks,Bruce RiggsKADS
  8. Not sure what was going on - I downloaded the new full installer, still had the same issue - I compared RudiJG1's panel.cfg entries (above), and could not see a diff, but overlayed it on mine, and, all things are good again... thanks!
  9. Greetings,Just installed today's service release for the 208, and can't start the GPS - when I turn it on, the startup screen flashes, then goes dark. All the other avionics are OK - anyone else seen this? Probably something stupid on my part. Thanks,Bruce RiggsKADS
  10. Now that I have a machine that can adequately run FSX, I am starting to enjoy the VC-only cockpits. Is there a way, once I have found settings I like for a particular view, to hard code those settings into the config file? I guess the question really is where can I go view the custom settings in order to make the config updates. Thanks!Bruce Riggs KADS
  11. Any chance we might get a model with tip tanks? One of our club F33's has them (http://www.rfcdallas.com/photos/aircraft/default.asp) - also, if anyone would like to try their hand at a repaint of N4416W, I would be grateful! I need to finally dig in and figure out this repainting business :)Thanks,Bruce RiggsKADS
  12. On a long haul trip from Moscow to San Fran - over northern Canada, my plane suddenly has a problem! (not looking for a solution, just thought is was an interesting artifact - probably some type of memory leak):
  13. I have a new Dell system that is running FSX great on Windows 7. My issue is that at night, the cloud and ground texture look posterized, or cartoonish, with no depth. I have the most recent drivers, and I have experimented with all the graphics settings in o no avail. My Monitor is a Dell 21" widescreen running in 1920*1080 mode. Is there something simple I am overlooking? Thanks,Bruce RiggsKADS
  14. Solved the problem for me! Thanks for getting me flying again in this fine aircraft...Thanks,Bruce RiggsKADS
