I found zooming in to .50 or something like that eliminates to popping. I think they did it to increase frame rates.

Found my problem. You have to have throttles in fsuipc set as axis throttle 1 and axis throttle 2, I just used the throttle setting before. After I changed them the method above set them correctly. Thanks for the help.

I'm having the exact same problem as the op, Everytime I try to input values its as if it dowsn't matter.

I have the same problem. I tried inputing the values as per instructions, but the throttles just don't match up. I'll follow this post and let you know if I can figure something out. Thanks anthony

Do you shut of fsuipc control of the dash8 for throttle setup? I have been trying to set up the detent positions but there is a big Juno in numbers when I move the throttle levers. For example 0 start moving doesn't start registering movement until the throttle us halfway to the full position?

Hi, when I'm setting up my saiteck throttle quadrant I can't get the detents to line up. I seem to not have the sesitivity in my throttle to show what values to add for the reverse, idle, detent, etc. I just want to take my throttle to the detent part that I can feel when using it and make anything after that reverse thrust. I have no idea how to do this with the new dash 8. All other planes I own I have no probem setting up my throttle. Thank You

I have tried changing different textures, number of cloud layers, and turning overcast enhancement off and I still get low fps with clouds. I also remember as2012 running slow with an update than it was updated again and my fps improved. I'm pretty sure something is going on with sp2 causing my loss of fps. I can run at 30 locked as long as the clouds aren't too intense, but I used to be able to run that fast even with heavy cloud cover. I guess I'll just wait and see if someone else has this problem and maybe it will be fixed.

Yes same problem here. I especially notice it with heavy clouds. I tried shutting off the overcast enhancment but it still is slower than before. I hope that they come up with something for this. Anthony

Thanks for the perspective. I have noticed that my frames really drop inside the vc of the ngx. When I look outside, wingview, etc I get a lock of 30 fps, Any idea how I can fix this problem. Thank You

Yes I have my fps limited inside fsx to 30. When I watch the counter it actually will go to 29.5- 16.5 very quickly, no stutters when it does this but I was wondering if anyone has the counter pegged at 30. Thanks

I was wondering if people that say they have 30 fps solid if that number fluctuates or just shows 30 when hitting shift-z. Mine goes from 30 down to 25 and all over the place actually. Just wonder if someone has their system set so their fps counter just shows 30. Thank You Anthony

just a quick follow up. If I buy another board and install my hard drive onto it will fsx win7 etc work just fine or do i have to reinstall everything. Thank You Anthony

I've been unhappy with my performance results recently and have been trying to figure out what to do about fps fluctuations. I have setup fsx as per most tweaking guides. This morning I noticed that flying in the middle of the USA no fps drops, but when I approached the coast and the ocean became visible my frame rates started going down. I use rex textures and have water set at 2x high not maxed. I then lowered my setting for water and my frames improved. Ok I like the detailed water so I don't know if there is anything I can do to keep it that way and not lose my framerate. Thanks for the help. Anthony

I was just wondering if someone here could give me an answer, can I overclock an I7 2600k chip with an MSI H61M-E33 B3 board. It says on the box 1 second overclocking with OC genie, but I just can't figure it out. I go into my bios and there is no way to up the thing more than 3.6 ghz. Thanks for the help.

Just one other thing I can think of that I did was to try to calibrate my saitek flight yoke. I installed its software to get the thing centered. I than uninstalled all the software that came with it. Not sure if this caused my problem. I have tried starting with a new fsx.cfg but no good. I have no idea what to do.

Hi, I'm not sure if this is the correct place to post this but here it goes. I have been running fsx at 30 fps locked for some time on an I7 2600k 8gb gtx 550ti, i was experimenting with shade for fsx when all of a sudden my frames are down to 7-8 fps. I closed fsx down and shade showed it was unloading its textures but even when I load fsx by itself since than my frames are terrible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Anthony

I was wondering from everyones expertice if it is possible to hook up my front audio jacks to my soundblaster 2 audiolgy soundcard. I notice it has a plug on top but I'm not sure what it is for and I can't seem to find a cord to plug into it from the front of my computer coming from the audio jacks. I 'm not sure if I should use both my soundblaster card and my onboard sound. What I want to do is seperate the sounds from one speaker to another. For examle I want atc and vatsim to come through my headset but all other aircraft sounds through my speakers. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Anthony

Is anyone else having a clicking sound when using the wind noise options of accufeel? I am getting a constant click like the sounds are playing in a loop and I hear the beginning or end(not really sure it matters) of the sound for winds. I can shut it off by disabling these features but I would like to use it. I have tried default aircraft as well as payware, I still have it. I use onboard Realtek sound card but don't have problems with sound except with this. Thank you Anthony
