  1. Good afternoon all. Can't remember if MCE menu bar should be visible in full screen....i keep losing it when going full screen. Searched the forum, and looked through the ini file with no luck. Thank you.
  2. Thanks for the reply, but a couple of problems remain. I have no flows for any of my Aircraft. I particularly enjoy flying the Aerososft Airbus, but nothing there, and i follow the tree you suggested "My Documents\Multi Crew Experience\Myvoicescripts\Copilot\Aircraft\Aerosoft CRJ-700\" i have no 'Multi Crew Experience' in 'My Documents'. I think maybe, another uninstal, and reinstall might be helpful as if the computer had never encountered MCE before. I have a copy of my license safely tucked away and probably won't need to repeat all the voice training...could you advise me how to do this please.
  3. Hi fellas, Due to illness i haven't been using flight sim for quite some time. Trying to get back into it but i can't, for the life of me, get version 2770 to work. The check lists will work, but i have no flows. I bought the Virtualcol CRJ ( not the Aerosoft) and to my surprise, it worked really well including flows. I would simply switch the checklist file to the Aerosoft CRJ. Now, i can't find that file and feel rather confused. If i attempt to change that file now, MCE just crashes. Tried running the 'x pack MSI as advised on the forum but no joy. Any help would be much appreciated. FSX , Windows 10 64 bit (including latest large update whatever that was called), intel core i5 - 446 cpu 3.2 Ghz, 8.0 MB RAM, NVIDIA G Force GT 720.
  4. Just a thought while you are waiting for integration. I bought the Virtualcol CRJ, would have preferred the Aerosoft but didn't have the money. Having said that, the Virtualcol CRJ is a good model and fun to fly I wondered if i could get any functionality with MCE. Of course, the checklists would work if i just selected the Aerosoft checklists, and then i cloned the flows and it actually works. Not full functionality, but i didn't expect it to be, probably 80%. I wonder if you clone the flows from the Aerosoft A320 would you get any functionality with the FF A320?
  5. I believe what is happening (MCE moderator can correct me if i am wrong) is that your co pilot mode is automatically set to the correct one compatible with the co pilot function of MCE and that is why it is cycling through the modes. If you try using the voice prompt instead of the gauge does that work ?. Try that and when you get close to the take off runway see if ATC says (your call sign) contact tower on 111.111. If it does, then PFE3 knows where your plane is and is monitoring it. If not we can probably conclude that after taxi to runway clearance it has lost contact. Moderators. For some strange reason, when i sign out this post is not visible. Plan to cut and paste, then repost. If shows as a duplicate please delete one.

  7. If you switch off the interaction with ATC in MCE, and then use the co pilot in PFE3 does the TGS gauge work? After you have received your clearance to taxi the PFE3 window should say 'TGS active' If you want to request a different runway, you would press one and then the window will say TGS deactivated. Also, when using MCE interaction do you get a voice prompt for taxiing from PFE3 after activating it and selecting the voice in PFE3?
  8. I thought that might be the case. It is the autopilot feature of PF3 that is changing your altitude and direction, although you say that you have the coms...do you mean you have the coms in MCE but not PF3? I think that is what is probably going on. You might want to change your virtual co pilot mode by going into options 1 CO pilot mode 1 will have him/her change the frequencies only and he won't set your altitude or heading. You say that you are too high on approach this almost certainly because you have not changed your altitudes on the flight planning page. Select a preset which is the rate at which the plane will climb and descend, i would save it as a defined preset eg Airbus. Now, when you click select flight, a page will pop up showing your way points and altitudes that you will be flying. Take a look at your way points closer to your destination airport...for example if at way point Flig it shows you at 18000 change it to something like 8000, it might not need to be that drastic, but start your descent sooner and click save. You don't always have to do this as PFE3 might vector you fine, but sometimes due to terrain avoidance issues for example, it will have you to high so always take a look at your altitudes page. Hope this helps.
  9. Thanks Charlie, Yes, i'm getting the same inconsistent results with push back direction with FSX. Sometimes the options menu stays up long enough for me to click the direction i want to go in, other times it just flashes up and makes a selection. I did notice that when i say 'mechanic commence push back to the left' mce is hearing 'tail left' from the red text, which i now consider when making push back request...also use 'commence' rather than 'start' as MCE will some times hear 'stop' instead of 'start' The strangest thing is that sometimes the mechanic will attach the pin, walk away from the aircraft and then won't do anything...can't get the push back to start and have to abort and start again. Ah well, i'll use the key menu, not the end of the world. Voice recognition has greatly improved, and (touch wood) not getting any more loss of communication with the first officer so much enjoying using MCE with especially with the Aerosoft Airbus. Regards.
  10. I recently posted about problems i was having with MCE and GSX pushback, but haven't yet received a reply, so i was wondering if users of GSX could post the voice commands and technique that they use to get the push back with voice command only. Much appreciated
  11. Hi, I'm still trying to fine tune the push back procedure using GSX. I call ground 'cockpit to ground' and then 'Mechanic please start push back to the left/right. GSX menus will then flash up and question do i want to start engines before push back and the FO will ask me. Sometimes it will push back in the requested direction, most of the time just goes straight back. A menu pops up with two options 'abort push back' and stop push back here' and then something odd happens a lot of the time. The mechanic will attach the pin, walk away from the plane and then just stand there bending his knees and nothing happens. The only way out of this situation is to select 'abort push back' and try again. Thanks for any help with this.
