  1. I have it for the xbox. Truly Amazing game. I've done a few missions and then decided to go exploring in Blaine County. I followed a crop dusting plane around until it landed and then stole it. There is no virtual cockpit view as such, but you can fly with a view behind the prop. Can't wait to find out what other planes they have. This game is a must buy for everyone and I'm sure it will keep me entertained for a long while.
  2. I think you get an autorudder effect when you fly in mouse mode? It's not very good doing any kind of aerobatics or extreme manoeuvres, but if you are just sight seeing it actually works very well. I quite often just use the mouse to fly when i'm only firing up Flight for a quick go and can't be bothered to plug my joystick in.
  3. [email protected] Please don't ban me. I just thought i'd give people the correct route to take to complain about MS Flight if thats what they want to do. Pin this if you like :) Regards Spen
  4. Those 2 landing challenges are what completely changed my opinion on Flight. More of that will keep me happy :)
  5. Nah, can't be a "trainset". That was cancelled in 2009! :)
  6. Contraception would have been a good idea in this case.
  7. What is missing in 'Flight', which i hope MS will add in the final release is the animated shoreline with waves. At the moment it looks very dull and lifeless, almost like a drawing.
  8. To the NDA police. It's hardly a revelation that Flight is limited to Hawaii only....for nowMy comment about being 'lost' was in reference to a popular TV series a few years ago that was filmed in Hawaii. Google those compass bearings i mentioned. I found the similarity to my trying to escape the island quite amusing.I also find it quite amusing that if this beta thing is meant to be all hush hush. Why does microsoft broadcast that i'm playing it through my gamertag, which is available for anyone to see if they know what my tag name is? (The same as they do for games you play on the xbox)
  9. I hadn't considered the 'toilet' issue. A dose of imodium all round i reckon!
  10. Right, so i didn't fall asleep honest. But... it apears there is a limit. I tried to refuel at 25% and it put me back to around 300 miles out. So basically there is no way out, i am lost! I might try a heading of 305 to see if that works. Or is it 325 degrees?
  11. Will do. Current location: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?q=19.909,-152.510
  12. Managed about an hour so far....only another 22 hours an 39 minutes to go. I'm half expecting some MS branded F16 fighters to shoot me down if i go much farther!
  13. You are right, it doesn't work in the air. You can add fuel using the hanger in the map menu while airbourne though.
  14. With the 'F' button of course ;)
  15. Very useful tool. Thanks!I was quite close then :) PHTO (19°43'13"N 155°02'54"W) KLAX (33°56'33"N 118°24'29"W) 58° (NE) 2128 nm 23:39
