Recently I am experiencing a complete panel blackout when trying to load a saved flight. Essentially, all EFIS come black, and when I click on any CDU it displays the ACARS bitmap. Very strange, and it is systematic. No that the controls are also unresponsive, no aileron, elevator, trim, or throttle.I tried to save through "PMDG Options" the FLT and panel state, but to no avail. It makes no difference if I save through the FSX menu, FSUIPC or PMDG Options. The strange thiong is that I could swear it used to work, probably pre SP1. And I haven't tried to load an old panel state or flight, I have been creating new ones.Anyone ran into the same issues and have guidance before I submit a ticket?Cheers,Guillaume

This guy interesting too from a painter standpoint, definitely bold styling!http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=VP-BRT&gs_sm=e&gs_upl=995l995l0l1660l1l1l0l0l0l0l104l104l0.1l1l0&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.,cf.osb&biw=1920&bih=994&wrapid=tlif132189397677110&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=isch&source=og&sa=N&tab=wi -
I'm using NGX SP1 with the 600/700 extension, UT2 and REX, I have FSUIPC scheduled to save every 10 minutes but it never causes this issue (W7 "hourglass"). I run everything on a 6Gb/s SSD, so saves are almost instantaneous. I'll disable FSUIPC saves entirelt to chewck though. It doesn't seem to make a difference where I fly into, I ahve noticed it at completely different locations. I was tempted to blame UT2 and wondering if somehow it wasn't loading traffic at that time. The issue seems to be random, but the symptoms clearly exactly the same. Something seem to want to load or check at that time, always near the rwy threshold.

This is fantastic, thanks guys!Any chance you would consider doing this one: http://flightaware.c...aircraft/N111VMI found it looking for flights ideas in flightaware, it was on its way from Paris to SFO with a flight time 11 h 38 mins!(P.S: it was showned as belonging to Wells Fargo) -
Would be good to have an official word from the dev. team to understand if it's coming later or if we should forget about it alltogether.By the way on the subject of pushback, quite an interesting thing to read: http://www.flightglo...tem-wheelt.html
-
Agreed, this pushback is killing me, I feel like the tug is taking me for a ride on the countryside each time, and more than once i end up crashing in a building or another plane (since then I disabled crash detection). I find it very detrimental to the overall experience, a shame given everythign else is absolutely brilliant. What is the official word from PMDG on this? SP2?

Hi majapahit, thanks for taking the time.it seems that I get erratic behavior, I try to do what you recommend, but the FSUIPC dialog window doesn't appear consistently. Sometimes I have to move the mouse over to the right EFIS (ND) in or order for the window to appear, so I can type the name of the command ("up" for instance). Pressing TAB does nothing. I wonder if I have an FSUIPC configuration problem.Time to read my FSUIPC documentation! -

Thank you, I followed this to the letter, but mving my lever has no effect, aside from the mouse cursor changing from left click to right click (different hand symbol).I tried using your macro and recording mine too, same result. Strange... -
me too, no issue with ENB

For some reason this doesn't work for me...When you record the macro, is there anythign specific you must do? Be in 2D panel for instance? Thanks,Guillaume -

Hi Nick, please make sure you have space after FPS_Limiter.exe. It should read: FPS_Limiter.exe /f:30(space before /f:30) -

same for me since SP1 -
Major FPS improvements for me with SP1. Great job!

Same as Bob here, tried to land this morning with a 20 kt headwind, crossed threshold at 50ft, Vref+5, idle, floated over 3/4 of runway 11 in Oslo. Decided to go around...Haven't noticed this if no headwind is present though.Guillaume

I have an i7 2600K O/C at 4.4Ghz, 2x SATA 6Gb/s SSDs, a GTX470 and UsePools=0 works for me with the external FPS limiter. I don't get any flashing, the key to removing the flashing was to use water=High 2.x.Now I will say that in many instances, while I get 20-30FPS or even more, it stills stutters. I have given up trying to achieve perfect smoothness...not sure it even exists. But hey, if someone with a similar system has achieved it, I'm all ears :)

Automated Tweaking and Tuning tool for FSX
g_seattle replied to bojote's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
Nick,You need to create a FPS limiter shortcut on your desktop, right click on it and in Properties, edit the Target line as such:"YourPathtoFPSLimiterFPS_Limiter.exe" /f:30 "Your PathtoFSXfsx.exe"where YourPathxxxx is the path to your installation of FPS and FSX. Once you're done, double click on the shortcut, it will launch FSX with the FPS limiter set at 30 FPS.-Guillaume -
...I want to take a minute to thank the PMDG team for delivering something simply astonishing. Kudos and thank you for a wonderful plane, I can't stop flying it and I believe you have given FSX a second wind. I for one can't wait to see what you have in store next :)Guillaume

Strange lights issue...help appreciated
g_seattle replied to g_seattle's topic in MS FSX | FSX-SE Forum
Hi Mike,Of course...how stupid of me...it was x-graphics Thanks a lot,Guillaume -
Hi all,I am using FSX SP2 with nhancer (Nick's recommended settings, excet for AA which I have at 2Q). My system is mediocre, an old 3Ghz AMD64 with a 7800GTX.Since I re-installed nhancer, I have a very undesirable light effect (see image attached). The lights have this exagerated "star" shape. Worse, on a VASI, it makes it impossible to distinguis red form white. Aircraft landing lights are also affected.Any idea what can cause this? I have tried changing options in nhancer, but to no avail.Thansk much,Guillaume
