  1. Yeah, thanks, Dusty, I got the G500 sorted, thanks to Bert. I was wondering about the stock GPS, not an RXP one. (Oh, boy, I think my aging brain may have struck again.)Cheers,Fritz
  2. Many thanks, Bernt. This really is a beautiful airplane! Cheers,Fritz
  3. Thank you much, Kurt! I am a complete novice when it comes to turboprops and your explanation of the relation between power and pitch has been very helpful. I must admit that I still have a problem with contolling my airspeed with the propeller pitch. I don't understand it all, quite yet, maybe. I can't slow down by changing the prop pitch. Only the power lever seems to work. I know I'm doing something wrong, chaps, but I don't know what it is. All help will be appreciated as will any clever remarks.Cheers,Fritz
  4. Ah, OK, I see. The nose is only about 2° high. I should have realised that but I'm not very knowledgeable about how things are at higher altitudes, I mostly fly around 5000-8000 AGL. This airplane is a whole new departure for me. Thanks, Glenn.Cheers,Fritz
  5. Thanks for the tip, Bert. I would like to have your modification to the AP. PM on the way.I noticed one thing with the AP. When I engage it, it keeps the plane nose high when holding altitude. I can't figure out if it's me doing something wrong or a problem with the AP itself. If you have any ideas, I would be grateful.Cheers,Fritz
  6. Hey Stephinder,The Commander has a fuel injected engine. The "carb icing" that you see is an FSX thing, can't be fixed, I understand. You'll just have to remember to turn the carb heat on with your keyboard when you fly the 114. :biggrin:Cheers,Fritz
  7. Yeah, but for guys that aren't like Gunnar, (like myself), it would help a lot. Cheers,Fritz
  8. Thank you, Bert. Much appreciated! Cheers,Fritz
  9. Thanks, Leen. I see what I can do...but you'll probably hear from me again. Cheers,Fritz
  10. G'day, I would like to try to repaint my RealAir Duke B-60, the piston model, not the turbo, but there is no paintkit available nor are blank textures provided. Is there a way to work around that? I can't seem to find anything that helps me, but I'm very new to repainting and don't know what to look for, really. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks to all. Cheers,Fritz
  11. Hey Bob, On the Carenado site, go to "My Account" and click on "Updates and Patches". Should be there. Cheers,Fritz
  12. Joe, OK, I see what you mean. Appreciate all your help. Thanks again. Cheers,Fritz
  13. Hey Joe, Oh, boy. I thought that the yellow bit was a mistake. I said to myself, I didn't notice anything other than the aileron there, so I ignored it. So unless the ailerons are the are the same color as the fuselage we will have a curious little blotch there. Poor show. Oh, well, so it goes. Many thanks to you, Joe, mind how you go. Cheers,Fritz
  14. Thank you, Joe, but that's only the part that's flush with the fuselage. The bit that's elusive, (at least for me), is the horizontal part that is the underside of the step itself. That's what I can't locate. Sorry, that first picture probably wasn't very clear. Here's another. Cheers,Fritz
  15. Dear Leen, Well, thanks, but I'm sorry, I didn't understand that at all. I don't have any idea which rexture sheet I should look in. Sorry to be so thick, but could you help a little more? Thanks. Cheers,Fritz
  16. G'day, While attempting to do a repaint of the Carenado 185 floatplane, I have run into a impasse. On the fuselage towards the front, fairly low down, there is a small step, presmably fpr maintainence. I can not find the underside of that step. It has driven me right 'round the bend, frankly. Would someone be so kind as to point me towards the correct template, please? It would be very, very, much appreciated. Thanks up front. Cheers,Fritz
  17. G'day, This is wizard, this is! Except for the VC lighting. I haven't tried all the presets not to mention attempting my own so I'm not complaining at all and I understand that the preset "Mark's Final" addresses the problem but I noticed on the blog http://shadeforfsx.blogspot.com/ that there was post titled "Overly dark VC's durning morn/noon/afternoon" with a link to a blogpost included. That link appears to be dead. Would anyone happen to know what is/was in that post? Thanks. I imagine that it would be extremely difficult, if not impossible, to have a separate VC shader, wouldn't it? Cheers,Fritz
  18. Hey Jim, The dark panel for the 208 is a definite winner. I much prefer it to the original. Thanks a bushel! Cheers,Fritz
  19. Thanks, Jim, downloading v2 now. Will get back to you soon. Cheers,Fritz
  20. Say, thanks for taking this on, Jim. Looks very nice already! Personaly, I would be very interested. I think the dark panel will look quite nice in the 208. Cheers,Fritz
  21. There's no patch, per se, but Carenado told me to just download the plane again. I don't know what was fixed, I haven't gotten around to reloading it yet. :( Cheers,Fritz
