  1. Thanks for the info but I have one last question..my pc will be mostly to fly on fsx therefore I was wondering should I go with win xp 64 bit or win 7..I heard about a lot of CTD issues

  4. Morning, I'm thinking of building a new rig with the I3770K cpu but I'm not too sure about the mobo I should purchased..I don't want to spend a lot..with a new house and new baby I can't really go all out in regards to the mobo.

Yeah I had the right ils freq and as mentionned by Jimble sometimes I have the same issue...I'm being told to turn the opposite way of the runway thne shortly after I'm told to turn to intercept..I've allways been curious about why I'm being told to turn the opposite way of the runway thne ask to turn back to intercept..

  10. Everytime I load the cold & dark cockpit I keep on having an issue with the main door...Even when the main door is closed after b4 starting the engine...on the ecam it's written main door open during the entire flight... this issue only happens when I start in cold & dark cockpit..

I was being vectored for final for rwy 08R @ kmia and as I was told that I'm 25 miles from the marker turn right to heading 125 to intercept the loc and at the time I was told to turn right to heading 125 the loc wasn't alive but when it came the airport was on my left and loc pink diamond was on my left also therefore it was impossible to capture it.....It's the second time that I'm being told to turn and intercept the loc but when loc comes alive it's impossible to capture it....
  12. I had the same issue today.. I was using real weather but the wind was only at 10kts and the plane started to descend regardless of what i did to maintain my cruising altitude...

  14. I just purchased the MD-11 and I have one question... is there a way to verify in the fmc if 250 knots was enetered when we under fl100...on the boeing 747 all I have to do is go vnav page and modify if I want to.... bt don't know how to do it with md-11
  15. Thanks for the info! I'll give it a try but there's one thing I'd like to know in regards to callsigns..there's no callsign for Canjet nor sunwing and some other airlines... will the callsign list be upgraded??

  18. I was flying this route MMUN-CYUL MYDIA B881 KNOST TAY J75 CAE PSK J53 OAKLE J53 LOONS J78 PSB J59 SYR MSS FRANX FRANX5 and landing rwy was 06LAs per Franx5 STAR.. I'm suppose to be at franx at 6000B but when I informed to contact approach I was at FL110 and approach cleared me to descend to FL090 25nm from Franx then 10 nm later I was told that I'm 30 nm from the marker and was told to descend to 2100 ft to intercept.. I can't go from FL110 to FL021 in 30 nm....I've noticed on certain route that approach is kind o flate with their instructions therefore I'm almost too high to intercept
  19. Thx for info... is there any option to ask ATC to repeat their instruction...the volume is really low therefore sometimes I can't really hear what ATC is requesting but I'm able to hear the chatter and other without any prob

  21. thx for the info but in regards to what aircrafts I'm using it's mostly PMDG and LDS and one thing that I hope will not happened with RC it's when I have to start my descent... It happens a lot with fsx ATC that you're being asked to start descent way too late therefore you're too high or too far to intercept the LOC for final appr
  22. @Ronzie the dorval6 SID can be use for all the rwy at CYUL airport and the routering part it's written on the chart"Climb rwy heading or as assigned for RAD vector to assigned route and even when I enter it in my fmc right after the SID it's written Vector then the first waypoint of my assigned route... That's what I meant by vector by RC upon takeoff to my assigned route.

I understood what you meant and thx again for your help.Let's say that my SID is dorval6 from CYUL and in the sid I need to be vectored...Will RC vectors me to teh right waypoint and also if I have a star that includes vector to final will RC vector me as well..Sorry for asking so many questions
  24. Thx for your quick answer Ray but since I started to have a better understanding of SID and STAR's I can't flight without them..I also have another question.. Let's say that my star is RNAV and it can't be found in fsbuild ... is there a way for me to load in my flightplan for RC to know that's the star I'll be using

I just have a few questions before I make my purchase..1-Usually when i'm flying a long haul flight I'll cancel my IFR flight with ATC and use speedx4 and when I'm about 400nm to 300nm from my arrival airport I'll request an IFR clearance from ATC.. I'd like to know if I can do the samething with RC 2-Do I always have to open RC b4 lauching fsx or I could launch fsx and listen to ATIS at my starting airport then create the flightplan via fs build and open(load) it in RC while fsx is already launched
