Yes I have a butt kicker but they are WAY too expensive in the long run. It works well though. Whenever I spend too much time on FS, she comes downstairs, sneaks up behind me and kicks me in the butt. It even talk (aka yells) at you. Stuff like "get the he*l off that thing and come upstairs". Heck it EVEN tells me to do the dishes. No other FS product has simulated that to date. But not only does the buttkicker require power but diamond earings, rings, backrubs, etc so hence in the long run the buttkicker is very expensive.Sorry had to.JackColwill

Yes the NGX will speak for itself when released. And anyone that says that won't buy it, probably will. You just can't deny yourself such a work of art if you really do consider yourself a true flightsimmer.

LOL on the Yoda. I hear what you are saying. "I will believe our company is getting 787's when it is parked on our ramp and in our colors!". That kinda of thing. But obviously being on the tech team I know a bit of whats happening so my POV is a bit different on release. But if you are the type of guy that likes realism in these sims you wouldn't be disappointed. This is the first addon that I was in awe from. And yes, I own just about everyone of them out there.But as for customer service I have never had a problem with any of the guys. They have always been great. I remember on a couple of occasions I helped put together some VATSIM flyins for CZVR and CZEG and we compiled about 1000-2000 bux in prizes in addons. Great flyins btw! It was my job to get the prizes and whenever I emailed Robert I got an immediate response and nothing but support and donations from him. Meanwhile I can recall emailing a couple of companies (for 3 weeks!!) and not even getting a simply response back from them. I don't mind if they even declined but no response? But thats another story. I know you have been on these forums for quite a while and see the gulfstream on you sig. We you flying the big guys around at the white house? How did you like the G's?

The fact that PMDG got "left behind" isnt correct. I Am not quite sure what you are getting at about the beta tester and marketer thing.Oh and we both must be getting up up there if we still remember the Cordoba commercial!

Oh come on Bob. You know that isnt correct. These addons sell for YEARS after their release. You should hear what the beta testers are saying on our emails. The rest of the consumers will say the same thing.

BTW that wasnt a dare to call me on the phone suggestion. It was a call me because people will always be more mature and have respect for one another when there is a more personal aspect to things. CoolP you are becoming quite a hypocrit here. You get mad at PMDG for "slamming" iFly but its ok for you to slam me? My Bolding your quote above is exactly that. You know as well as I that you are taking shots at me. And what's this "but since they, now, don't want to be related to the dev they worked for anymore"? Who said I don't want to be related to PMDG. I am still testing for them! And I explained to you that I don't WORK for them. How many times do I have to explain. Last time I checked I don't see a payroll deposit from PMDG in my account. Guys this is all ridiculous. This is what happens (thanks to the internet and technology) when you removesthe social aspect of a community. A "hatred" comes out in everyone because we are all behind computers. You can pick any guy that you seem to have a problem with on here and I bet if you went out and had a drink with them you would probably get along with them fantastic. I have seen this a gazillion times. Currently I work for airline A. We might take some jabs at airline B and thy take jabs t us but when I bump into them in the hotel lobby or terminal, 99 times out of 100 I get along with them great. We respect each other and what we do. When you see ech other in person that "barrier" breaks. And its the exact same thing here. I bet If you, Jay or CoolP, bumped into any of the guys at PMDG and went out and had a bite to eat with them you would think they are great guys. And they are. Everyone has to keep in mind that being behind these computers will drastically change how you interact with one another. Not only that the context of a statement is so easily misunderstood when texting. Most of the time you cant tell when people are saying something sarcastic and joking around. Just try to give some people the benefit of the doubt. You may think PMDG is arrogant but they aren't if you knew them better. And if they are its probably because some of them are pilots and its a pilots nature to be arrogant! Lol. Just kidding. I havent chatted with Steve at iFly but he seems like a very nice guy that seems to have respect for people on there. I know guys like Ryan who have spent hours helping out individuals with issues. Sounds pretty darn helpful to me. Just dont rule out a company because they "seem" arrogant. Seem is a bad word. What it is associated with is often misunderstood. We are all here to enjoy this hobby and its just crazy that person A gets angry at person B because he likes Ford and not Chevy.........especially when they are both crazy cause Honda is better than both. I hear ya. Someone would think my opinion might be biased and I can understand why but Pmdg has solid ground to stand on from releasing top notch addons in the past. I was asked to help out with the iFly months before I started helping with the PMDG. My choice is quite obvious who I decided to help out with but not because I thought anything bad about iFly but the reason being is I knew what PMDG is capable of. Not only are some of the staff developers, but pilots as well so they have a good understanding of the job they are doing. But like everyone has said their wallet will speak for them. I just want people to know how realistic this NGX really is so they can make an informed decision. If you seen some of my posts before about product reviews you would get what I mean when I take product opinion seriously. I hate to see people waste money on addons to find out they didn't get anything close to what they were expecting.

Hey Jeremy. I do partially with your statement. I havent said the iFly is not worth the money. Heck it is cheap for what is out there. What I am saying is the PMDG is more in depth. Heck look how long it has been in the making. I am just stating obvious points. Its like saying an A320 is more of an "electronic" airplane as opposed to an 737. Its not saying either one is crap or one is better than the other but it is just stating a fact. Nothing wrong with that at all.

So what you are saying is that yoy are complaining because when you go to take a flight, you are complaining because it isnt a 787 you arent flying in? Boeing has published lotsof photos, details, etc about the 787 but I never hear about passengers complaining because they are not flying in a 787. Sure you get airlines complaing but then again, they have deposits on the plane , passengers dont. So why are all the flightsimmers complaining about PMDG? Not one single bit of humor in my statement. Why do you ask?

Looking at it from both sides of the coin, It's the consumer that hasn't been treating the developer very well. Watch a movie called Waiting, and when the one lady (who is at the table with about 3 of her friends) treats the waitress like garbage and demands this and demands that, well that kind of reminds me of how PMDG has been treated by many of the people in their forums. I feel bad for PMDG and what they had to put up with.

The nice thing about the PMDG will be that you can go from step one to parking at the gate anf know that you just did what we do in the real thing. Its something else gentlemen. You will love it.

Actually its worse than that. Robert, Ryan, Vin and the rest of tbe guys were playing quarters with a couple 60's of rye. Vin got carried away and accidentally bumped the bottle of rye on the table and unfortunately the HDD containing all the NGX data was on the table because they had no where else possibly to put it. All the data is gone now but they said they had a great time and it was worth it. Besides, Vin is happy because he walked away with a few hundred in quarters from winning the game.
