I have so many memories with this plane, i just love her! Repaint after repaint i think i am finding some new ways using bumps ans specs files. But of course doing it as a hobbie it takes time :)thanks for your comments :)

I just uploaded in the library my new repaint for L-188 from FS KBT team.All in DXT5 and HD. There is a new engine texture as well... so you can use for the other repaints if you like.I hope you all like.

Hi Brainsommers, thanks for your comment :)This is a Lockheed L-188 electra from the 50ths, one of the best planes ever bild for me, specialy because they turned into the P-3 orion for army and weather searches. And Buffalo airways are using in this days as well.The model is from TEAM FS KBT, comes with a great VC and model, only for fsx. :)

Thanks. I forgot to explain in the post, i changed the fsx to summer time only to check the textures under day light. Somehow it was what fsx gave me as i am not using addon for Canada mesh and textures :)Superpilotv2- Thanks :) The shine thing i found out is use to do not damage the paint and fuselage, The buffalo are using some dirt runways full of snow and stones now, so maybe this is the point. I will try to upload buffalo today as i am finishing the night textures :)Edetroid - The sound is good, i love those whistle sound and from the TEAM FS KBT pack comes great!Thanks all and i am glad you are all having fun with my repaints. Let me know if there is anything wrong or misplaced in the textures :)

Hi all, i just uploaded a Bump file fixing the wrong engine´s shadow in my varig pp-vjl texture. I did in dxt5 but you can use for textures in 32bit as well.file name: FIX for Varig L-188 Electra PP-VJL v3.0 HD

hehehe. I will try to combine or do in a diferent way my next volumes. I did before some repaints when Team fs KBT relesed their model using 1024 resolutions, as: PSA (2 version) and American Airlines as seen here in this post. I have as well some old files from TAA, Buffalo, Armada Argentina (2 versions), Cathay Pacific (3 versions) and KLM ...i can´t imagine how many MB you will need....kkkkk Thanks again guys, appreciate.

Yep! Fs KBT didn´t activate all the gauges, just some clickables i am afraid. I wish i knew how to remake gauges . Maybe one day i learn or someone come and help us!!! kkkI hope you are enjoying this repaint :)

Do you know the program DXTBmp? If you want to convert all these textures to dxt5, it will make 2 to 4 times lighter, but you will lose the 32bit quality :)
