  1. All Just bought the Aerosoft Huey X and it's proving a humbling experience! On takeoff, I cannot keep it straight. Even with full left petal, the nose tracks right while the aircraft moves left. It takes a fair amount of forward cyclic and gaining some airspeed to get it to straighten out. Same thing on landing. As I get below 30ish knots, it wants to slowly rotate right. Don't seem to have enough petal authority to keep it tracking straight. Any suggestions? I'm keeping the power around 1.5-2.0 on the torque gauge. Thanks!
  2. I wonder what the difference is between the Warrior and the old Cherokee, because the PA-28-140 I flew pitched down, but they're basically the same aircraft. Strange.
  3. Yeah, I'm pretty frustrated about that. I've been looking forward to the Commander for a while, and it was revealed at the same time as the 340, and before the Baron and the 210. I wish they'd release them in the same order they reveal the next projects. It's disappointing to watch new project after new project jump one that's been on the drawing board for quite a while.
  4. Agreed. A 152 should have a noticeable pitch up, as should any highwing Cessna.
  5. Haven't flown an Archer, but I have flown a Cherokee with manual flaps, the nose definitely did pitch down when you put in flaps. Can't imagine they're that much different.
  6. Looks good, but I really wish you'd put the C114 and the T210 out first!
  7. What about a Cherokee Six? Might be a little close to the Saratoga to be worth making, but I don't think there's another one on the market. Of course, before the switch to all FSX they DID have a Dakota, Archer and Cherokee all for sale, so maybe not.
  8. One thing I found interesting about that article is that it says power-off the 340 drops like a rock. Carenado's certainly does NOT drop like a rock when you pull the power!
  9. I was just going to say, I don't think anybody's done one, have they?
  10. Looks cool. Any word on the Commander?
  11. Looking very much forward to this one! But I agree, a P210N would be awesome! Maybe an expansion pack?
  12. It helps if your default flight is saved with one of the generic FSX aircraft. That might be what PD400 meant when he said the 172, but I found making your default flight with an add-on aircraft doesn't work as well.
  13. I'm still hoping for a Cessna Cardinal, FG or RG! Preferably both, but hey, I'm not picky.
  14. Interesting that they're going with a glass cockpit. I don't think I've ever seen a 310 with a G1000.
  15. I'm not as up to speed on my Cessna twins as I am the singles! Yeah, it does look more like a 335/340. Maybe they'll do a 310 after this? I do like how Carenado is kinda branching out a bit. A couple of twins, a turboprop, floats. Bodes well for the future!
  16. I'm very excited! I rent a Commander 112 from time to time at my flight school, so I'll be more able to say "Yes, a Commander flies like this". As for that twin, definitely not a 310, but definitely a twin Cessna of some sort. I'm guessing maybe a 320? I think the round windows are the giveaway.
  17. I'm hoping for a Cessna Cardinal. Dreamfleet did one, but it's only for FS2004, so it's dated.
  18. Don't suppose you want to give us a heads up as to what's coming out in the next few months?
  19. JPH1786 replied to a post in a topic in F33 Bonanza for FSX
Ok, but look how much input they took on the 185. They listened to people who had actually flown that plane, and let them assist with tweaking the flight model. Far from "the worst ever", I think.
  20. JPH1786 replied to a post in a topic in F33 Bonanza for FSX
I'd actually say that Carenado is alot more willing to listen and make corrections to its products than the vast majority of other developers.
  21. Wow! Looks great! Any word on a release date?
  22. Real world, I've never had the chance to fly a Bonanza of any sort. However, one of the planes I fly is a Socata TB-9, and it exhibits a similar sort of behavior. Taking off with no flaps, she wants to leap up at around sixty-five knots, but adding 10 degrees of flaps seems to help make it a much smoother transition. I'll give it a try with the Bo and see what happens.
  23. Just bought the F33, and it's awesome. One question to all of you, though. I downloaded it after the patch went into effect, but I'm still having to give her a healthy pull to rotate. Is that usual?
  24. I haven't seen Dreamfleet release anything new in over a year. Are they still turning out products? If not, really hope Carenado will do a Cessna 177, FG and RG models both!
  25. I don't think since they're making an F33 that an A36 is forthcoming. Too similar, IMO. Of course, they did have the Dakota and the Archer for FS9. I think an Aztec would be cool. Carenado did a good job with the Seneca, and I'm sure would do the same with another twin. Personally, I'm pulling for a Cessna 210 for FSX and a Piper Comanche!
