Hello,I've just installed SP1b and when I load cold&dark profile my left CDU stays black and I have to turn on battery to set Payloads and Fuel in CDU's settings. Checked my NGX*.sav files and have 2DOpen=0, so everything seems to be ok here.I'm not sure it's really issue, but previous option with left CDU running in cold&dark profile was better IMHO, because I was able to set payloads, fuel etc before starting up this bird ;)))))))All best.P. S. Can't sleep, can't eat, can't work because of NGX ;) PMDG - what have you done to me?! ;))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))

None of my friends are interested in flight simulators. I would like to share my cockpit with someone I know. So that's why MultiCrew is not for me :) But it's an great idea to use MC with NGX.

Hi,I have my all installers, but I bought Extended Download for PMDG 737NGX Base Pack, sent ticket with new URL request and got link to download installer. This link is valid for next 10 days. I also got confirmation, that installer downloaded with extended download option has built-in SP1.So if you don't want to install Base Pack and SP1 separately just buy Extended Download :)

Did you notice any visual and performance differences in PMDG737NGX between TEXTURE_MAX_LOAD set to 2048 and set to 4096?

I'm PMDGholic too :)I was flying PMDG 737 (for FS9), then my perfect lady 747-400X ;)This jumbo-jet from PMDG was my favourite aircraft. I spent hundreds of hours flying 744X and I even invited my friends to show and learn them how this works.Flying "boeings" is my passion, I really love these knobs, switches, panels, procedures, sounds.That's why I always look to the sky when I hear or see something flying above my head :) And 737NGX?... Masterpiece for me. People from PMDG did perfect job. I know there are many issues in their new product, but it doesn't matter. Everything can be fixable by Service Packs. It's too complicated product to be bugs free, that's normal. As I come from Poland like jodle I would like to write:Ogromne dzięki! :)

Hello,I also use dual throttle quadrants with registered FSUIPC 4.70b and I have some problems with landing gear operations. When I configure "Gear Up" and "Gear Down" in FSUIPC using buttons on Saitek Throttle Quadrants they don't work. I have to use keyboard to assign short-cuts for gear behaviours. I hope Pete Dowson will update his FSUIPC to be fully compatible with NGX :) All axes work perfectly :)All best.

I replaced Windows Task Manager by Process Explorer. When I minimize FSX using Alt+Tab I can't switch it back to the full screen using Alt+Tab. But I found solution long ago: open Process Explorer -> click right mouse button on fsx.exe process, choose menu WIndow -> click Bring to front. This always workes for me :) Cheers! P.S. Your 737NGX is amazing. I can't eat and sleep doing my Type Rating on 738 :) And till now I haven't noticed any issues.

Just like mine :) PMDG744 (748i exterior model) is the only one aircraft I currently fly. I really love this big lady :)But I'm going to buy 737NGX because of perfect realism of simulation (systems, knobs, flight model etc.) as announced. Maybe then my favourite will be NGX :)

Thanks for your advice.Is there any FSX + addons performance difference between Win 7 32 bit and 64 bit? If it's worth to upgrade my system I would get some info if I should buy 32 bit or 64 bit. Some people say it's better to buy Wind 7 32 bit for FSX, the others say 64 bit is a better choice. Maybe some of you already tested FSX with both 32 & 64bit versions and can give me some advices and tips.

Hi :)I've tried your tweaks and used the HIGHMEMFIX, STALE BUFFER THRESHOLD 2147483647, TEXTURE BANDWIDTH MULT 400 ,TEXTURE MAX LOAD 9 , SOUND QUALITY 2, SOUND LOD 0, USE POOLS 0 settings and...I have no crashes, my FSX works much better and smoother, so I can even turn on Traffic and increase all settings with good results of frame rates. Thank to these tweaks my sim works faster, smoother with higher details and more options enabled.But............. I still have disappearing textures - I see skeleton of PMDG 748i instead of nice and correct livery. Sometimes is OK but very often I have to restart PC or move sliders to left and then to right and correct textures come back... but not always. I use nHancer settings described here http://www.simforums.com/forums/forum_posts.asp?TID=29041 and have no idea how to repair textures, but what I like - your tweaks boost up sim and now I can fly with traffic, cars enabled etc :-)

I found some kind of solution but it's not good for people flying online. When you see black/transparent textures (skeleton) just decrease your Global Texture Resolution (for example to "Low"). Aircraft textures come back to normal and now you can move your Global Texture Resolution slider back to "Very High".

Hi,I've noticed in my 747-400X that autobrakes don't work after landing (even when I set it to MAX). Is there SIMPLE any solution here?In FS9 there's no such problem. I use Saitek Pro Flight System with Saiteh Rudder Pedals.I know there are some posts here describing this problem but I would like to "refresh" this topic because I didn't find concrete and simple solution and patches.So I would be very happy to get some help from you guys :)

Peter what sliders did you set? I've reinstalled everything and problem still exists.Airplane does not "recover" after few seconds and stays black & transparent. My system is fresh, up-to-date, have newest drivers, hard drive is defragmented etc.Removing overclocking have didn't help here.
