Yes the software is developed by my partner Ben. To run your own server you need to register as a VA at DafSim.com. I will be developing turn key hosting platform where you will be able to "rent" a server complete with web and mobile app management and monitoring interface. Pricing yet to be determined but should be cheap. BTW i am also creator of FSXDB.com

Hi I am Sam High creator of FSXDB.com the fast airport resource for fsx airport information and checklists. I have just released a public API at FSXDB API using the same data as FSXDB.com. What does this mean? Well if you want to integrate the same data you find at FSXDB.com into your VA or flying club site or want to build a mobile app you got the data and ability to filter the airports as you do FSXDB.com Advanced Search Page. You now have the data at your disposal in a REST Service that returns JSON data easily consumed in UI widgets etc like JQUery Mobile, JQuery UI and the best free widgets I highly recommend you learn and use is Kendo UI. I have example grid widget at API site to show how simple it is to use the API.

FSXDB.com has been updated! I have created a Aircraft Checklist App. Currently it has all the default FSX Aircraft amd many more popular aircraft for a total of 70 aircraft checklist. It's very similar to a comercial fsx utility only THIS IS FREE. Will be adding a "print" view in a day or so.

FSXDB.com has been updated! On the Airport Search list and Detail page I now include 2 links to external airport details at both SkyVectorand FlightAware. These links will open new browser window with the details from Some Search Examples @ FSXDB.com Did you know there are airports with Plank, Steel Matt, Brick and Coral Surfaces? Some interesting airport names: The Funny Farm, To Short, Beer, Bong, Answered Prayer, You can search Microsoft Flight Simulator X airport data by ICAO Code, Airport Name, Country, City, State, Runway Length, Elevation, Surface Type. Details page includes Runways, Com, VOR, NDB Frequencies and a Google Map. BTW, Looking for developer for an FSX addon to integrate with this site. See details here.
