  1. I was afraid someone was going to say that.....................
  2. I am one of those (probably the very few) that has NOT had a good experience with the upgrade. I upgraded late last night, and have spent the better part of today wondering why my FSX takes almost a half hour to open now (it was 10 minutes on Win 7 - kinda like everyone else). It takes FOREVER to click on anything in the sim, and I cannot even load the Trike without it crashing with no error message (just disappears). I have no effing clue what to do any more...I tried refreshing the fsx.cfg....tried deleting shaders...all antivirus crap is off, etc......I`m more just ranting than anything else. Why did this have to happen when everyone else is having such a great experience?????? FYI, in the Task Manager it shows that FSX is only using 11 MB of memory (#####??!). It starts out fine (uses about 48 MB initially on start up, and then TANKS to 11 MB and sometimes down to 2 MB of memory used). Argh.
  3. Well that`s a (sham) shame. I downloaded this aircraft, and I have to say the realism is ultra-amazing. Heck, when I switch views to the cabin to have a drink and watch TV, the FA`s even ask me for my credit card again! Not sure what my bill is going to look like after all of this, though. Now if that`s not realistic, I don`t know what is !!!
  4. A payware upgrade from the default scenery should take care of that. Sorry, had to
  5. A note of THANKS as well...... Not only do I thank you, Steve....but my keyboard thanks you, the hole in the walls of my computer room thank you, neighbors/friends/family thank you. I`ve been officially `tweak-free` for almost a month now, FS now means Flight Simulator again and not F*&@#$# S&@# and have racked up more actual FLYING hours in the past month than in the past 4 years!!
  6. This. When I installed my 760 I had the same problem until some research here in the forums led me to do exactly that. Good luck!
  7. This is now my 2nd post here in these forums, and I feel compelled to make it. This evening in the 73NGX over the Alamosa VOR (JFK-LAX) at FL380, with Denver Center on liveatc, I heard FedEx report in moderate steady chop at 380. About 20 seconds after that, my PFD started stuttering......never thought I would be so happy to see a 'stutter' in FSX in my life! Moderate chop all the way to the other side of the mountain....followed this Fedex to the visual 25L with a HUGE grin on my face. THANK YOU ASN !!!
  8. Hi.....this is my first post here, so take anything I say with a grain of salt  That said, please give this a read.....I had something similar happen to me in the distant past. http://forum.simflight.com/topic/74745-fsx-automatically-mistrusts-modules-fsuipc-not-loaded-solution/ Hope this helps you, or at least starts you down the right path......
