Rob, I paste both pages: EDIT: another screen... (VNAV DES page while diving) ...and new information - same issue exist also in normal VNAV descent, when reaching calculated T/D. As I remember well, on RTM version VNAV descent works fine, so: - or there is a bug - or I'm doing something wrong - but what?! :(

Do you think that I don't have ASN? Kyle, I know that radar works only with ASN... and I have this version "on board". Dan, I have Vista 64, so maybe you're right...

Hi, Rob, I am on CRZ FL, so when I start descent (it doesn’t matter in what mode: V/S, FLCH, ...) I will be below calculated path. As far as I know, that idea of DES NOW function it to start descent at rate about 1000 fpm, before calculated T/D, and fly with that descent rate to reach calculated path. However, my T7 starts descent with rate 10000 fpm. Let me allow to paste some screeshots: 1. start descent: 5 screens with 5 sec period 2. after few seconds, back to 0 fpm 3. and diving again Ps. Hmm, I don’t remember if speed values was set at each waypoint to the end of route :unsure: – but - before DES NOW execution, I set altitude constraint at the end of route (due that, the DES NOW become active) and speed values for each waypoint of route should appear automatically – am I right? Ps 2. While testing, I didn’t have enter arrival procedure in FMC, but I think that it isn’t reason. Ps 3. Physically throttle was idle.

Ok, so... I know what was the reason of inactive DES NOW option... I hadn't set altitude constrain at the end of route. When I set it, for example FL100, then set lower MCP altitude (for example 25000 [i was at 38000]), then after press DES NOW there was EXEC prompt, but.... ....and this is very weird... after press EXEC, aircraft reach nearly 11000 fpm of descent (almost 360 IAS!), after short time it back to 0 fpm and after few second again descent about 10000 fpm and so on... Any ideas?

777simmer, did you test DES NOW function? In my 777, DES DIR also do not work (I suppose that CLB DIR do not work too, however didn't test). I wrote ticket, but they I have no response form them since four days...

I think it's not by REX, because on eralier version nvidia drivers (344.11 I installed a few days ago), I didn't have this effect. However, I have another question - is it possible to change hue and intensity of this "mask"?

Unfortunately, issue still exist - I think it depends on sun light vertical angle towards fuselage. Indeed, Gen3 or Gen4 looks better then Gen5, however there is no perfect. Maybe other options should I change? Ps. above case is concern external shadow on fuselage (not VC), so I don't know what is relation with EZDOK, beacause pannig from external view is the same with/without EZDOK.

So, I have CTD even when I pan to WX panel from pilot position view - but I have EZDOK camera and panning is quite different then normal... Ok, I can live with it, maybe this will be fixed in next SP

This is 777 by PMDG - I'm flying it Yes, EZDOK on board. I tried turn on "Tuned shadows" and "Reduce Falloff with angle" - no result. But after changing Shadow Version from 5 to 4 looks much better. PS. I'm going to try turn the "Show HD exterior shadow" option on ...will see. Thank you Steve.

Ok, I made little mistake in previous post - I mean there is fatal error after pressing both TFR buttons (as a method of wx radar test). However, after pressing TEST button there is error too: I reinstalled T7 -> clean installation RTM version, then SP1c - did not help. Error appears in following situations: 1. just after test begining while ASN is running 2. and when ASN is not running, test passed, but error appears while FSX is closing. Update: I also deleted all panel states, then load free flight. Error still exist :(

Hello, because the name of this thread is quite universal, I'll try here... so, when I press both WXR TEST buttons I have error. System starts testing radar, but after few seconds FSX doesn't response and then - fatal error. ASN is running. Did you ever meet that issue? Ps. In another thread I described that DES NOW function doesn't work. Maybe I should reinstall 777?

No. EXEC remains extinguished after press DES NOW. However, I tried press EXEC, but nothing happened. Yes, but I'm courious is it bug or I'm doing something wrong

Correct, I know what should it do, but why it didn't do it I don't remeber well but on 90% I don't have throttles to idle...
